yes you can! just add the new image(head) to the bone layer and bind it to the head bone(or adjust the strength if you prefer to work that way)

It looks like the "evenly spaced" option is not working properly... i tried many different ways and it doesn't seem to do anything, the particles behave the same way whether the option is on or off.

Your best option is to do it by hand.

In 9.5 i was able to copy the attributes of a shape with shift and i was able to transfer the colors to the selected shape with alt.

To be honest, i'm glad they didn't spend time working on the character wizard.

It depends on what you're trying to do. Flash is great for frame by frame animations, and the drawing tools are nice maybe even better(on its own way). But adobe just keeps ruining the software on every upgrade, at least on the animation side (main issues are exporting options) To be honest with you...
