Re: Animation shot in 2s?

The animation moved every time I advanced it one frame. Something is not right here. What have I missed? Are you sure you are actually advancing the cartoon only "one frame" at a time? Perhaps each advancement is actually one-twelth of a second, so you would see movement for every advance...

lol. sorry but i'd rather work on my animation projects ;) ROnC Word of the day: Threadshi**ing. Meaning: to reply in a thread for no other reason than to crap on it. Personally, I hope somebody does a cool icon, because I'd probably use it. It's easy to replace icons on an Apple PC. Back in...

By the way, don't use that idea--it's mine. It's the best idea I've had all year.

Steps to making an animated movie: 1. Have an idea 2. Write a script 3. Draw the storyboards 4. Record scratch dialogue 5. Make an animatic 6. Record dialogue and sound effects 7. Animate the movie 8. Celebrate your 70th birthday :D Haha, I kid about #8. But yeh, it will take years, if you're essent...

Won't even notice? I use switch layers with raster images in a lot, and this is a hugely crippling bug: http://lostmarble.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13723 Do you have an animation example that you could post to that thread where the problem is easily detectable by a viewer? Because I'm not seeing it...

Re: Audacity

It just so happens that I can't import the .wma files into Audacity because of patent restrictions. I was afraid of that. My google-fu is weak. You might have better luck googling for a solution than waiting for somebody here to help. Most Anime Studio users avoid difficult proprietary formats like...

IMHO, it's the kind of bug you won't even notice unless you're looking for it.

Also, what are you waiting for? Upgrade! Of course you should upgrade! Unless money is an issue, then forget it.

Re: File type

They're all .wma. I can't get my audio recordings into .wav from .wma. As stupid as it sounds how do you change them? "Audacity" is a handy, free program that many folks use for editing sound. Download Audacity, open your .WMA file and see if you can "export" it as a .WAV file. ...

http://www.lostmarble.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11457 Did you see this thread, right?... Yes, that helped. Surprisingly, I'm now actually eager for the next locked foot-bone to pop out of location. Instead of grumbling and unlocking the bone as usual, I will shout, "That's what YOU think, bone...

Joint Flexibility

Sometimes Lock Bone doesn't work like you expect it to work and a locked bone will "pop" out of location. Because of this hard-to-predict behavior, some folks get tired of Lock Bone and seldom use it. To make Lock Bone more user-friendly, add a parameter to Lock Bone called Joint Flexibili...

It's just my own opinion of course. -vern Well, I guess that's the real problem: I am not good at predicting when the lock bone will work and when it won't. Nonetheless, I'll continue to u...

Thanks, HeyVern. Let me see if I understand you. When I lock a foot bone and move some other bone, and the foot bone suddenly 'pops' out of location, what happened is that I created an impossible situation?--a situation where the foot bone cannot mathematically exist in that desired "locked&quo...

Fossilize Bone

Lock Bone only tries to lock a bone. Alas, sometimes it can and sometimes it can't.

Fossilize Bone, however, would absolutely, totally 100% keep a bone from moving--no matter what.

Fossilize: when lockin' a bone just won't cut it.
