I'm able to render fine in swf format using AS 7(Vista Home Premium, Dual Core.) But the other codecs crash(avi, mov). No other scripts installed.

Thanks neeters! I'll try to make the switch to AS somehow. As for advanced lessons, I'm not really an animation expert, just sharing the basics, along with small discoveries I've made up till now. I'm still learning myself, just like everyone else.

Personally I hope everyone feels comfortable posting work, including beginners. We can help them, and ourselves, by sharing what we know, thereby raising the overall skill level of the community. In that respect this forum delivers BIG TIME. Funk, I agree with everything you wrote except for one thi...

Skill definitely counts for a lot, but combined with incredible software I'm seeing more and more one man studios armed with only a laptop and keyboard. You're a perfect example of that. Really interesting era we're heading into.

sbtamu, Danimal, thanks for the links! Great to hear that SmithMicro is honoring the discount, but a 50% sale so soon after AS 7's release alienates customers who bought the software around launch, and a lot of them are probably Anime Studio's most loyal supporters. I'm jumping in on this sale, it's...

Still have yet to make the change, I've barely had a chance to play with AS 6! But I expect to upgrade eventually. If people post a lot of cool AS 7 specific files, it'll be hard to resist.

I usually associate FL Studio with ambient techno, so I'm a bit shocked as well. I've been playing around with my midi controller the past few months, and it's amazing how much software sounds like hardware, you can't tell the difference anymore. Very very nice stuff. I'll have to keep an eye on tho...

I might've had more secondary action on the head, but I like the motion on the legs. And I feel the same about short clips, there's usually a lot of time invested in building the assets up front so I prefer using AS for longer projects. But I'm heavily point motion oriented, and don't rely much on b...

Congratulations rylleman! Hope you get a lot of good press and find a distributor! The ABBA music fits well. I may even get a chance to see this here in NY.
