I examined this file and the bones are using flexible binding, not regional. What I can't figure out is bone strength. Why is it uniform? Does this method only work with characters drawn with arms out? What else limits the use of this method? I ask and wonder because this is a very nice effect. I'll...

Nice
Thank you Genete that is a beautiful example. I will see if that will work with me - if I can make it work for me.

Proper Bones for Character
I know bones has been written about a lot. But it's an important topic I'm still trying to figure out how best to construct my characters. I know I can use regional binding for a cut-out type of look and feel. But that gives me jagged edges where layers connect. I know I can use flexible binding, bu...

No more problem
I haven't been able to replicate the export without sound. But that's good news.

I'm finding
I find that, right now, for me, the most direct way is to use the AS facility to use sound file volume to choose between the switches and when I've got 2 characters visible just delete the keyframes in the timeline for the character I don't want to talk at that moment. Simple, crude, but direct and ...

Maybe a solution?
I'm using 16 bit .wav files. Is it possible that I need to place the timeline marker (red line) on the zero cell of the timeline for it to export the sound properly? I'll test this out. It's just a supposition because twice now I've exported properly and improperly and I wasn't paying attention to w...

Sound problem
I've searched for answers here and can't find any.
Sometimes, when I export, my sound goes with it. Sometimes, it doesn't. Does anyone know what's happening or how I can ensure I get my sound to go with the file?
Thanks so much.

Layer visibility
I want to trade a front-facing face for a side-facing face at point x in my timeline. The front-facing face is part of a bone system. The side-facing face is imported under it's own bone group. I uncheck "visible" in the layer compositing effects menu but the front-facing face remains visi...

Controling 2+ Switch Layers with 2+ data files
After searching and reading a lot on this excellent forum, I could not find the information I needed either here or in the tutorials. It's in the tutorials if you infer a couple of steps. But, since no synopsis of the steps was available here, I'll summarize in hope of contributing something. I want...

This happened to me
I rendered and my output was black and white. I read this thread and found out what was wrong with my project: When I selected the fill color for my shapes, I inadvertently selected gradient as the first effect, but I didn't choose "color 1" and "color 2" so everything in my draw...
