Re: Moho 12: Has it caught up with CelAction 2D in 2018?
How does CelAction 2D handle smear frames if it doesn't have native drawing tools? I find working with smears to be difficult in Moho, so I imagine it's even more of a pain for them.

Re: Krita 4 Released! Open Source Digital Painting and Anima
Great update, unfortunately the program still has a lot of issues. - The program no longer detects the eraser on wacom pens - It crashes pretty quickly when doing vector artwork - Wacom pen scroll/pan button still isn't programmable (I'd take scrub zoom or pan. Anything other than increment scroll) ...

Re: Blender New Innovative 2d Animation "GP Tools"
Interesting, but the course won't be available till March some time. The price is right but in watching the YouTube video he has you install Gimp and the exporter plug-in. The project website says they are only going to be using Krita so something isn't clicking here. Krita hasn't implemented a scr...

Re: Animation Pro - Update 1.6 (iOS)
This looks cool, but it's unfortunate that it only works with the ipad. Even the 12.9 inch ipad Pro only has 4GB of RAM, which is nothing to a serious animator. If Apple were to increase the RAM in the ipad pro to 12GB, this would be a serious contender.

Re: bezier curve option
Just struck me as funny somehow that I had been hearing requests for this feature for years and years, and now that it's here some people's first reaction is how do I get rid of this. Yeah, but that's true of just about any new feature. Personally, I like the bezier handles as they allow me to buil...

Re: How to Import layers from Krita?
In krita, go to file>export and from the drop down menu choose "Photoshop Image" as the file format. Save the file.
In Moho, drag and drop your exported image into Moho. That's it.
I import from Krita all the time, it works fine.

Re: Hardware for smooth work
I would suggest focusing your money on buying a good cpu and fast ram. Keep in mind that Moho uses a maximum of 4 cores, so you want to get a cpu with a high clock speed and really good individual core performance. I would suggest Intel over amd for this reason, since amd tends to rely on core numbe...

I haven't tried it on AS 11.2. Download it and try it, it might work.

Re: Blender New Innovative 2d Animation "GP Tools"
Yeah, I've been using my little hack to do just that. I was just hoping that they would add in an official switch feature.herbert123 wrote: @dkwroot: you've written an addon for Blender that does object switching, right? So just attach your various gp drawings to that?

Re: Wave Generator (updated)
I updated the script with a new displace feature. It allows you to create waves by using time analysis instead of just moving points forward. The result is a lot cleaner and easier to use mesh. The old features are still there for people who prefer them.

Re: Blender New Innovative 2d Animation "GP Tools"
How does the new grease pencil handle layer ordering? Is it based on distance from the camera or is there a layer order menu? The array looks awesome, but I'm concerned about how useful it will be if draw order isn't based upon distance from camera. I hope they add some tools for cutout animation, l...

If you're new to scripting with Moho, I'd suggest checking out the scripts recipes thread. Users have shared solutions to a lot of redundant tasks that often appear in coding.

Re: Can I use Moho to draw ?
You definitely should use a bitmap based application for that kind of drawing, not vector based. Oh I see...I thought there would be a method to not see lines and dots until turned on but I guess there isn't. At the bottom right of your canvas (next to the "Display Quality" drop down butt...

Re: Mixing Smart Bones!
Thanks for sharing this, Victor. I'm looking into it and I've developed some theories. I'm breaking this down in a technical way in case some folks might get an idea of how to script some of this for quick automation. If we have two smart bones (S1,S2) and one corrective smartbone (C), then if we wa...
