Swtach box is the screen.

New Features: Selecting a color. - Now you can select any color from any part of the screen, simply click on the swatch box and drag your cursor to any part of the screen to select a color. For example, before if you wanted a get color from an movie clip on a layer you would have to render the image...

Optionally you may want to use this code if you are experiencing lag during playback. Downside is you won't be able to see the changed layer switch until you click on something else first. -- ************************************************** -- Original idea by Super8mm coded by Synthsin75-- ******...

I'm using them now with a couple of exceptions. I had to darken all of them since they almost disappear in my custom GUI colors. Also I used a different icon for reparent bone. I just used the rotate bone erase the the rotating arrow and placed a red arrow pointing in the middle of the bone similar ...

This is no more "paper cutout" than your stuff you've posted.
"Paper cutout" means that there isn't any squash and stretch and all joints during the whole animation maintain an equal distance and all artwork remains static for the entire scene.

Nice work. Are you intentionally making them look like paper cutouts?

That's very clever Super8mm. The turnaround is certainly impressive. Have you attempted any animation with it yet? That turn around is animated considering that his stance means the angle of the arms and legs constantly change angle in order to maintain the illusion that he's not moving. I've alrea...

This looks great! Please do a tutorial. Also please post links for downloading all scripts you use. Do all the scripts work in AS Pro 5.6? A tutorial? Please be more specific, a tutorial on how to do what? Copy parent bone: http://www.lostmarble.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15841 And I use this to kee...

essentially you have 8 separate bone rigs and they're all moving together? No. Too complicated. I want to keep it simple and manageable as possible. One bone rig that's the MASTER bone rig. All switch layers are binded to a bone as a typical setup. Except for the BODY (torso) it's in a switch layer...

Thanks!

There are so many aspects I could make a tutorial on with this. If anyone wants to know something about this rig I'll gladly answer questions anyone has about it.

Vectored fully dynamic character 360 turn around

This character can be smoothly animated in any pose as with any typically fully bone rigged character. And since the chest, head, hands, and feet are on separate switch layers the pose possibilities are vast. It's as close as you can get to a 3D character done with only vector art done in AS. Info o...

Synthsin75 did the coding just now and here it is: http://www.mediafire.com/?myn12tmy4y1 1-Add a note layer and place it below the switch and its layers. 2-Embed the script in the switch layer, right click the switch layer >check embed script file >select the file switcheck.lua Now the note layer's ...

I got it! Set all layers in the switch that are unused to the following state: render_only=true Hide in rendering view checked That way only the used layer isn't grayed out. That way you can see it when the switch is expanded. And it doesn't disappear unless you choose the switch layer but the switc...

Other idea, can a script change the name of a layer?

If so then Instead of changing the note's value can you change the note's layer name or any layer's name?
