Re: Can anyone give me some opinions on my short

I will make sure the animations are dark and very surprising. And a few jumpscares just to show how mean he is Jumpscares are fine, but try not to rely on them. I don't know if you've ever played them, but if you did; think about the comparison between resident evil and of silent hill. Resident evi...

I mean... wow. Just beautiful. Very good grasp on the program, and a lot of truly memorable technical shots, such as when the beast was looking beside the tree - I love those kinds of shots. This was extremely impressive. I'll be watching you.

NarrAnimation

Not a new concept by any means, but I'm the type who prefers doing everything in-house, so it appeals to me. I tried doing this style before, but my life isn't...funny enough? So, I've taken to crafting the story on my own. I actually had a few moments that were inspired by Danimal's "Who are t...

Re: Koala cartoon

I'm going start off with the harsh part: You might have been downplaying it a bit with "prone to" salty language. There were a few parts where it felt like it "fit", like when he's saying "You're just *first name* effin *last name", but otherwise it really seemed forced...

Re: Pitching to Nickelodeon and The cartoon network

I understand I'm late to the party, but if I can weigh in with my thoughts on criticism: When I first signed up on these forums, I felt like my animation wasn't great, and I was nervous about posting it, but I did anyway. Now, I didn't get crucified, but what I've always maintained is that in any cr...

Re: Open a door at an angle

If it's only 3 seconds, could you do keyframes every 6 frames or so? Might be a quick way to pull it together.

Re: My Second Animated Comedy Music Video!

I had to stop listening after the first verse to leave this comment. That chorus made me laugh out loud, for real. Beautifully written song, and a genuinely funny video. Keep it up!

Smartbones are misbehaving

So, here's the scenario: I'm animating the opening sequence of a music video, and the character is talking. So I animate the mouth, and it looks fine. I then decided that I wanted him to glance off-screen during a break. So I set up all the eye movements, making sure to set up a frame before the eye...

Thanks guys! I just moved all my equipment over to new software, so I'm still ironing it out, but I also edited with headphones, which is basically rule number 1 when it comes to audio, but I appreciate you taking the time to watch. And yes, I will definitely be making more!

Re: Robber Denied

That guard looks like Rick Ross, haha. I thought it was funny. The running animation looked very smooth, and the back and forth between the hicks was good, it set up the next shot without feeling like it was explicitly telling me "Here's what's about to happen." Good job.

Re: Teenz episodes on youtube

Speaking about being new, my first animated project I did suffered the same "no plot" fate, but it gave me a place to start from. However, onto your content. First, I watched a few minutes of episode 1 and 6, and like Danimal said, I did notice an improvement in the character design, so go...
