This is great. Cut-out animation, probably done with Flash.

I had this problem a while ago. Do you export using the batch process? I found that if I exported in the regular way (where it draws each frame to the screen as it renders the movie) Moho would almost inevitably crash, but if I chose batch export, even with only one file, it would export smoothly. A...

Glad about the move to e-frontier, not so much about the name change. Manga Studio is a great product, and contains many manga-specific features (being from Japan). Moho, so far, does not contain any anime-specific features, whatever those might be, and users who expect to be making that type of ani...

I've used Moho on two jobs. I'm curious to know, from the people who are doing it professionally, how you track down clients. In my case I got one job through someone I used to work with, and the other job fell into my lap through my employer at the time, for whom I was doing Flash animation on a TV...

Of course one important reason to produce as few drawings as possible is to cut costs. But if one looks at anime, one wonders why they save costs at one corner by doing only 4 drawings per second while they still stick to their detailed drawing style and overwhelming effects (which are, as opposite...

I was thinking about doing a book on cut-out animation in general, using Moho as the included tool. But then I got a job and what with one thing and another I don't have the time. Besides, there are probably people with a lot more experience than what I have. I've only finished 2.5 short animations ...

Rhoel - I think your problem was that your Movie Clip should have been set to Graphic Symbol insead of Movie Clip.. The use of the graphic symbol vs Movie Clip is an interesting thought and might be a good work around if Macromedia hasnt fixed it. I do have a copy of Flash MX here and I really shou...

he documentation in Flash was pretty good when I started using it, back at version 2 or 3, but since then they've ruined it. Likewise they've ruined the drawing tools after version 4. I could get smooth lines with the brush tool in v.4 and from v.5 onwards the lines come out very uneven. I'm holding...

United Airlines Commercial
Apparently this aired during the Suprebowl, which I didn't watch. For anyone else who may have missed it (like our European friends), this is a great example of cut-out animation: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-869456739285384156 The style makes me think it was designed by a Russian. It wa...

Mark: Just found out I can't get anymore 2.0 licenses. Better hold off. I'll try to see what 2020 has decided about going forward with Axel. Obviously, they are flirting with the idea since they have left the site up now for quite some time. Greg Smith Plus I downloaded the demo and they sent me an...
