“Intaglio”, “Graphic Converter” and “Preview” are all able to open the “haruhi.eps” file... Saved as PDF or SWF any other 2D Animation Software I use could open that file... Unfortunately Anime Studio doesn’t import PDF or SWF yet...? Not sure if there’re any usable EPS- to AI-file converter around....

Well, it all depends on personal preferences, and what look you would like to achieve. Vector drawings are resolution independent, so no problem for closeups... Bitmap drawings used for closeups have to have a reasonable resolution, otherwise they can become quite blurry... Lots of them in high reso...
