Re: New Moho user speaks up.

I just purchased Moho after fooling around with the demo and I really must say that this is a wonderful program. ... Thanks and keep up the good work. I too must chime in here. I have been playing with moho since last September or so, and recently finished up some school work and now able to devote...

It's just an idea for "some future update". At this point it hasn't even been started. However, there is a GUI batch mode in place now - wouldn't that work for queuing up an overnight list of renders? D'oh! I was looking so in depth, that I didn't see the obvious. Yes, for my purposes, th...

Batch render

In another topic, Lost Marble wrote: Actually, our plan for some future update was to proide a command-line rendering mode. It would be as simple as something like this (exact syntax to be determined): moho -r scene01.moho -o scene01.mov How far along is this? It would be nice to set up a queue of r...

SHIFT-TAB in dialogs

Hello, I tend to use the keyboard a lot, especially when entering information into a dialog. One habit that I've gotten into over the years is using TAB to move forward, and using SHIFT-TAB to move backwards. In moho, only the former works. It would be very handy to me to be able to use SHIFT-TAB to...

I'm still starting with moho and I would like to import 3D models. However, while I have access to a windows box, primariliy I use linux. I have followed the discussions here about using wings3d to create a model and then gile to "bake" the textures on. But, while there is a linux wings3d,...

I think South Park is admirable and trash at the same time. First, it's very inspiring to know that you can get across virtually any emotion through "rough" animation, without a lot of drawing skill. It's also admirable with some of the topics they take on. I also think it's trash because ...

Is it possible to import SVG into moho? If so, is it supported better than AI/EPS?

But would I have to have another program besides moho to "composte" (not sure if that's the right word) it together into the scene? Using your example, I'd have a foreground, and maybe a background, and other "layers". How would they get "put back together"? Thanks for ...

It will render out clean anti-aliased edges at 720x540 (NTSC square, before converting to 720x480 rectangular pixels). It can even handle film res if you want. I have been setting up my canvas size to be 720x480. Should I be setting it to 720x540 instead? I'm trying to think ahead, so I can go to T...

Hello! I like you work a lot, particularly the 3d looking effects of the rose, and the subtle feathers on the wings. Would you be willing to share your .moho file so that we could see how you did the texturing and effects? Thanks! :P

I understand about breaking down your amination into smaller chunks "time-wise". But I'm not sure about breaking it out into separate layers. Actually, I see how you could do that, but then how would you put it all back together again?

Thanks Nolan! What kind of hardware did you use while creating your animation? How long did it take to render? Just doing an ALT-R on my system for a single frame seems to take forever!

Thanks! There's tons of stuff there to dissect and see how you did things.

The Incredibles

Although I haven't seen it, I like what you relate as the process on making "The Incredibles", DK. Speaking of The Incredibles, I thought it was a truly tremendous movie: - While the plot was a bit predictable, the story was interesting, and the characters exceptional. - The art direction...
