Export video WITH Alpha (on Windows)
I'm looking for a way to render a video with alpha, from a PC with Windows 10. It seems Apple's ProRes 4444 would be a good choice, unfortunately encoding is not (yet) supported on Windows. (Adobe Media Encoder is supposed to deal with it very soon). So it seems the ultimate alternative right now is...

Re: Help Shape the Future of Anime Studio
I don't know if any of you are also on the " Anime Studio Pros " Facebook page (very active, 1,300 members so far, with many professionals), but there is a post about what members of the group wanted for features and changes to be in Anime Studio. As Victor Paredes noticed us, it's better ...

Re: Help Shape the Future of Anime Studio
Hey, I've been thinking about the Actions window and how I would like it to be improved. Sorry in advance if it has been already discussed :) Basically, I think it would be easier to have it horizontally rather than vertically, with the ability to show actions related to the selected smartbone only....

Re: Follow Path - bugged?
Oh yes I get it know, yes I used the "Alt method", to get the shape to deform with the path.Greenlaw wrote:Follow Path has 2 modes.
Still, I don't get why the result is different when I play the animation or not, and also different when doing an export (see my first post).

Re: Follow Path - bugged?
Thank you for your reply, Eric! Though I'm not sure to get what you mean by "Alt Method" and "Just Click Method"? The keyframes in the Red and Yellow bases are needed to change the shapes of the two objects (to get this dynamic movement effect I want). When I remove them, the mov...

Import 2D sequence from ASP 11 into Poser Pro 11?
Sorry in advance if it has already been asked, but I couldn't find anything clear about this. I do remember that in older versions of Poser it was possible to import a movie with transparency as an animated texture in Poser, but I can't find how to this in the latest version of Poser Pro. What I wan...

A shape following a path, following a path, following a path
Yep. :) Basically, just a simple shape, following a path, that follows another path, itself following a path. It is just a "proof of concept", but I guess it might be interesting to tweak it and see the possible results (and get completely lost about what's going on!) I guess someone alrea...

Follow Path - bugged?
I'm messing around with the "Follow Path" tool since some days, and I've noticed that it might be bugged. Here are two exemples, to try and explain what I mean: 1 - two shapes following paths. Download .anime file When I open the file, not touching anything, you can see the first frame and...

Re: Help Shape the Future of Anime Studio
Unlike what Wizaerd says, I don't think the UI is "ugly", but it kind of feel outdated for sure. Don't get me wrong, I'm aware of how complicated and hard it is to make an inteface simple but yet powerful. But with just a refreshed design, it would look more attractive and pleasant to use,...

Re: Help Shape the Future of Anime Studio
Hey everyone! I've read a lot of good suggestions here, unfortunately I didn't had the will to read the whole topic. So, excuse me if it already has been told but, I would like to see a way to save/load presets for the bones dynamic. For instance a list of premade sets, that fits for the physics of ...

Re: François Hollande: The Fighting Game
That was really well executed. How were you able to get all those high resolution images of the politicians? Thank you all for your nice comments! For the images, I've looked through Google Images for the name of the politician (with additional keywords like "side view", "happy"...

François Hollande: The Fighting Game
Hey everyone, this is my first contribution to "Share Your Work", so I hope you'll like it! It is an animation vaguely based on the old fighting game like Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter, using François Hollande (the President of France) and some others French politicians, ... in a fightin...

Re: Why is Particle Preview So Slow?
Hey,
I don't know what it is happening, but maybe it could be related to your hardware?
Does it act the same when you use the GPU acceleration in the Display Quality menu?

Re: Smooth Joint for Bone Pairs
Thanks for your answer, Greenlaw! It is indeed related to the bone angle, as I did some new tests with bones in a straight line and it works fine, but it won't work if a bone is rotated. I think it is safe to say this feature is going to be better in a next ASP release, because as good as the idea i...
