Re: Smart Mesh mess of questions
Thanks so much for your reply.
Do you mean one mesh for the head and one mesh for the entire body including arms and legs or would those be separate? Also do you bind layers and use flexi binding just like with a shape with smart mesh?
Thanks again

Smart Mesh mess of questions
So first Mckoy Buck sent me a ton of videos which I have voraciously consumed and just worked for 7 hours with. Thanks again dude. Here is where I am. I was actually able to use a drawing I did of a head and use the smart mesh to make it articulate, the eye lids, the check bones, and man it is in no...

isolating body parts from drawings with gimp
Hello I am also pretty new here so sorry in advance. I have really scratchy scetchy drawings with pen squigges. I have figured out how to isolate limbs and body parts from gimp to png into moho. When I import it it is just an image and not a layer and it looks like it wants me to then trace with the...

How would you make it rain spiders?
I would like to have it start raining spiders and then when they hit the ground have them crawl all over the place. My question is how do you animate that many different elements at the same time. Is there a fast cheat sort of way to do that with them in a group? This forum is really helpful thank you

quick newbie question
So I have made one puppet in one project and I would like to stick him in another without the corresponding back drop I made, I just want to take the cool monster from one thing and put him in another thing. I can highlight layers and copy and paste them over but when the figure is finished I can on...

Re: Trouble with switch layers
Yeah that helps a lot thanks. I just figured out that I had the switch layers inside a bone layer and they only work if they are on their own. Now I can see them and I am sorry for pestering but when the character moves the layers float where it was, they are not connected? Also it seems to connect ...

Re: Trouble with switch layers
Hey thanks, good to know that it is supposed to look that way. I still can't seem to see the things in the switch layer when they change though. Is there some sort of rule involving where the layers are placed that can affect that?

Re: Trouble with switch layers
Dear Wes thanks for getting back, now I have spent ages trying to work out how to post a screen shot, hopefully successfully. Here is before the switch layer: http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh281/sandersman/Capture.png And here is what is happening: http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh281/sande...

Trouble with switch layers
Hello I am working through the beginners tutorial for the anime studio 12 debut which has you make a star charactor and have hit a snag. The video has you create a switch layer for eyes (open, closed, half open and blank) and a similar layer for the mouth. When I get to that step and try to switch f...
