Can't you animate the moving sea separately, then use a still image of the pier, then animate the images as a separate file also, and then composite them all together elsewhere? Yeah, I could have done, and have certainly learnt my lesson. This was my first scene with Anime, and I expected it to ha...

One gig of ram here too, and a pentium 4 3.20. I think the annoyance is that it'll render a few frames before doing that, so it is obviously a memory handling problem on the part of the software. I have to admit I am using a lot of big(ish) png's, but nothing crazy. This scene is particularly heavy ...

Is anyone else having these memory handling problems?

Okay, now I know I may be overloading AS a bit, but it renders several frames fine (I am exporting as bmp): http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n276/betweenthedevil/how_it_should_be.jpg But after a few it does this: http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n276/betweenthedevil/how_it_is.jpg I have an ok pc...

I loved everything about that. Perfect.

And while I didn't notice the printing block until after she stood up, it did not detract from the story.

Darkening a layer

Is it possible to darken the contents of an entire layer within Anime Studio? For example: I have a car that is to be used in both night and day scenes. It would be great if I didn't have to remake it for each scene. It seems weird that I can alter the opacity, but not the brightness, unless I am mi...

I'm working on a more simple scene to begin with that doesn't include winged guy. But he'll be taking to the skies soon enough.

The wings boned particularly well and I'm hoping for some impressive results, but I am still learning as I go with this.

And here is what one looks like all together. Again, I have the entire body from 360 degrees to allow for the ever tricky, turning in Anime.

Wow. Are these 3D imports? What about lip-synching -- and expressing emotions? Blink cycles? Use of eyebrows?...They are very impressive, but if they are to be anything other than statues, then you have even more work to do!! They are 3D imports. I have eyebrows, eyes and mouths for various express...

From my first Anime project

I have each of these 3 heads in 96 different angles in switch files to allow head turns. I'd appreciate any comments / feedback. http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n276/betweenthedevil/nasty_head0010.png http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n276/betweenthedevil/vicar_head0037.png http://i114.photobuck...

Is there anywhere we can see the work your previous students have created? To give us an idea of what level this course will get us to?

The 'walk cycle' was just a rough effort to test how the bones behaved, but thank you for the feedback.

:D fixed it!

I spent some more time on it and fixed it. I was trying to use one skeleton for the whole character, but have now split it up it into different layers.
