Re: copy and paste keys doesnt work

Yeah, this bug has been around for a long time. I just re-submitted a ticket recently since Moho has new owners. They said they'd pass it on to the devs. It's a pretty big issue for me, as I animate with separated dimensions a lot. There's (I'm guessing) a related bug with separated layer transforms...

Re: Ways the motion graph could be drastically improved

In particular the point handles that you can never ever quite get lined up perfectly horizontally snapped to the point. I'm glad someone else feels that way, it really does make your animation life much easier! In fact, a while back, after seeing the results of a bunch of 'bouncing ball animations'...

Ways the motion graph could be drastically improved

Manipulation of animation curves is incredibly important to creating quality animation. I end up spending most of my time in the motion graph, playing a sequence over and over, manipulating the curves until it feels just right...or I run out of time! That said, I think there is ample opportunity for...

这很棒!感觉非常 3D,布料和头发的运动非常好。您为此使用了动态骨骼,还是手动为其设置动画?我希望这是可读的,我正在使用谷歌翻译。 :p

Re: Place layer at pivot point

Pretty sure what you're after is impossible in Moho, until they add snapping. Otherwise you can't do better than eye-balling the origin to the edge.

Re: ASP is Worst Animation Software Ever

Another long-time AE user here. Moho definitely takes some getting used to, and there are some really strange gotchas hiding in the software. It's absolutely worth it if you're doing character animation though. Good luck and feel free to ask questions if you get hung up! :D

Re: Animation school recommendations

I wouldn't recommend they go to college for animation unless it's something like SCAD maybe: https://www.scad.edu/ There have been some AMAZING portfolios to come out of that school. That said... I'd recommend they start with School of Motion's Animation Bootcamp: https://www.schoolofmotion.com/anim...

Re: Export Preview Range

Ha! I temporarily seem to have forgotten that Moho does indeed change the frame range according to the preview range. So weird. I was living in an alternate reality there for bit.

Re: Export Preview Range

This would be a really great feature to add.

I find that I'm constantly setting different frame ranges and doing renders because I can't view masked items etc., directly in the editor. A checkbox you can click that auto-sets the export to the preview range would be perfect.

Re: Anyone interested in a Discord?

I think the forum and Discord serve two different functions. The forum is the main hub of knowledge. The 'Library of Alexandria' for Moho. You come here to stay informed, get guidance from the Moho elders, and ask which button you click to make a 3 hour anime. The discord is like a cafe. You can cha...

Hide in Editing View is Broken

You can have the visibility of a layer turned off, the opacity all the way to zero, but if you have "Hide in Editing View" checked, the layer will appear in your export, even if it doesn't appear in a preview.

Re: Dynamic Scaling?

I'm going to use this all the time! Looks like it's best to give the action a lot of frames, that way there is 'resolution' for the small movements that can result at the end of dynamic movement. Also, I ended up going into the preferences and changed it to allow me to draw shapes on frames other th...

Re: Dynamic Scaling?

Oh man, this is absolutely awesome! I kept trying to get something like this to work, but couldn't get it to go. Turns out I completely forgot you can associate an action with a bone just by creating an action with the same name. I kept creating smart bone dials. :p haha Been a while since I spent a...
