It's a nice idea, but I'm afraid it doesn't give you much control over composition and the way the eye flows through the scene. Having that many buildings also creates a busy background against which your characters will be hard to see. I once was working on an illustration (never finished) with som...

You should only be squashing and stretching the soft parts of a character. Even if your character is all soft you should only squash and stretch the parts that are supposed to squash and stretch. In Rasheed's example, the arms shouldn't be stretching and the feet shouldn't be sliding apart like that...

Yuri Norstein's "The Overcoat"
For those who haven't seen it, this is master animator Norstein's incomplete magnum opus. Made with layers and layers of cut-out pieces of paper.

is that just to keep it small? or do i miss another big advanteg in vector animation? i think it looks kind of dull and boring most of the time... One advantage to vectors; you can distort shapes without losing quality, as happens when you distort bitmaps. A second advantage; you can zoom in and ou...

Plastic Animation Paper
Has anyone mentioned this program? www.plasticanimationpaper.com It's for drawing traditional animation. Then you have to import the drawings into another program to color them. The low-end version is shareware and the next-highest is 500 Euros. Which is weird, because Moho has a richer feature set ...
