Re: Bus Stop Animation
I think it was the sidewalk movement in perspective to the mailbox etc... If you notice, the lines in the side walk are moving at a different speed then the passing objects on the street. I didn't notice this until Slowtiger pointed it out ( at least I think he did). Everyone already commented on th...

Re: Boom! goes the dinosaur.
Looks good and weighty, you might consider giving some more subtle smooth movements to the tail

Re: Elsewhere
Well, I have to give you credit for creating a place with such a strong environment and theme. I just can't watch it though. I've watched your stuff before, and you give a true feeling of unease and disturbance, so much so that I feel really uncomfortable after (like my brain needs a shower). So it'...

Re: Help me with head and body turns please
Like Vern said, since it's not animated it doesn't have "life" but it looks good, like an action figure on a rotating table. Try animating it and see how it looks. On the Layer-Order question, I have a suggestion for a work around. Right now I'm still using debut 6, I have debut 9.5 as wel...

Brilliant eye for movement and communication through your expressions, matched perfect to the dialog. Can't wait to see what you do from here on out.

Re: Critiques welcome
Nice work. It has a very fun feel to it. As for critiques, this one is merely my personal eye looking at it, others I'm sure will differ, so you'll just have to decide what you want on your own, but for me, I would thin the outlines a bit, and experiment with a 1% blur on the overall character rig t...

Re: 2d animation showreel
Great style, nice colors. The music was upbeat and matched well. very fluid. The only thing that I wasn't crazy about (and I only say this because it's obvious you have the talent to do it better in my opinion) was the swarm of bees. They looked to be like a built-in particle splash, if it wasn't fo...

Re: Nick and Will in History: The Titanic
Little Yamori the pacing was intentionally slowed to show that Nick and Will are oblivious to the rising water. But if that negatively impacted the cartoon, we will rethink that strategy in the future. I watched it again, maybe it was just me since no one else seemed to feel it did, if I had to be ...

Re: Nick and Will in History: The Titanic
This one had the probably the best expressions for Nick and Will that I've seen. As for critiques, I think I would adjust the water opacity, to me it was a little too faint as it filled up the furnace room, and at that time in the story the pace seemed to slow a bit, since that was the climax/story ...

Re: Threshold + New particle source
Just a quick observation on the shading thing. In Selgin's example it looks possibly as simple as an over layer with the opacity turned down and the blur turned up in a sort of purplish color that create the shading effect. ( I still am in anime kindergarten with masking, so maybe I'm just always lo...
