Well, I think a cut-out challenge would be nifty! What if someone (me) select a set of images, and we make the challenge based on those? I can make it up as a pack, put it somewhere to download and work from there? That'll take a bit of the hackwork of it for searching for images (for busy or lazy ...

thinking about it here's some ideas: take 10+ random images from google image search and make a 'gag' out of it using only cut out techniques (bones would be fine, but no bending/morphing images) Images should be unrelated and used out of context where possible. also using 'step' interpolation to f...

I do get messages sometimes, I just ignore them, but it does not slow because of it! You could send me the file so I have a look at it, I did quite extensive work with the script. Finally found the problem. Seems like I accidentally had two "aim" bones. I guess I selected the wrong bone w...

I think we should have a cutout challenge... there's so much source material at our fingertips (google image search etc) - to just create completely random stuff like this in AS - you could even record your funny sounds directly into it! who's with me? :P Could be fun. What's the challenge? Maybe y...

The controlling bone is called FL.trg and the controlled bone(the shin bone) is called FL.aim.

It does see to work only there are these messages and it slows down.

Thanks for the reply.

Hello, I have been using this script successfully on some walk and run cycles after learning how to use it from GCharb's tutorial blog. However now I am getting this Lua Consle message...attempt to index local 'AimBone' (a nil value). It seems like it still works, but very slowly. I can't figure out...

This is a head turn test I made with blendmorph if you want to have a look!
Thanks for this file, GCharb. Will you be doing a head turn tutorial any time soon?

I think a PDF with imbedded video and photo sounds great. Recently, I watched a video about how to use some scripts and I missed two important steps. If I am reading step by step instructions as in a PDF then I won't easily miss a step. Pictures or videos need to be included otherwise it can be conf...

I just thought the shadow's arm was a little out, but who cares it looks good. I had a go at a 3d head turn the other day, like you say there are so many ways to do it. Good luck with yours! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SzkYNxbe5tg Actually, I did want them different, but at the end I was a littl...

Thanks, hayasidist, Interesting....nice shapes. They could be useful. They remind me of some Adobe Illustrator plugins I've seen. I wish I had some skill at scripting. I feel it would be a little too much for me to start. I joked with my step son that he should learn to write scripts for ASP, but wh...

Thanks AmigaMan, Actually I wanted the shadow to move differently as if it was coming to life, but maybe it is just distracting. I'm glad you liked it. Now I want to try a head turn and maybe you have something on your blog that would be helpful. It seems a lot of it depends on the design of the cha...
