Re: Anime Studio Support is always MISSSING
https://support.smithmicro.com You must submit a ticket. There is no more chat. You most likely can't use Anime Studio because all of your activations got used up or lost somehow. If you contact support, they will need your serial number to look it up in the system and clear out the used up activati...

Re: Anime Studio Pro 10 crashing before opening
Hey Guys!
Glad you found a workaround, but I just heard this has been fixed on the backed ( or they think it has)
It is 10:00AM in California -8GMT
Anyone still having a crash after this time with Analytics checked?
Thanks!

Re: Several problems w AS Pro 10 on the project I am working
2. Crayon effect seems to pulsate like it is on its own animation loop. Is it supposed to do that? Make sure you have minimize frame to frame randomness selected, in the crayon settings dialog. 3. Particle effect, RAIN, looks pixelated and blurry when I render my animation. Why? Is there a setting ...

Re: Anime Studio 10.1.1 Update Available!
I have just updated to the newest version from 9.5. Great little and big new features, however I am dismayed to see that the bugs relating to multiple screens remain unresolved in the latest version. I did report these issues a year ago! Herbert123, We did do some work on making sure Anime Studio a...

Re: Nasty outlines on stroke brush
How about naming the images? Doesn't matter? The naming of the pngs in the multi-brush folder doesn't matter so much, but I would name them something unique. The folder naming is going to be important for the settings of the brush. Don't use an underscore in name of brush as it starts after name to...

Re: Nasty outlines on stroke brush
You're going to want to have the images Square, they won't stretch if you just make sure they are all something like 128x128 pixels. or 256x256 As far as tint It goes by how you have saved your png. I can't recall just this second on which is which, but do this. When you save the images at a square ...

Re: Anime Studio 10 Multi-brushes packs
Wonderful, do you need version 10 to use these? If you want the same consistent results as the promo images, then you will need AS10+. In Anime Studio 9 you can take a .png file and drop it into your user content location/ "brushes" folder and it will show up in your brushes list next lau...

Anime Studio 10 Multi-brushes packs
Something that might interest you. I just released a couple of brush packs. They are set-up as Anime Studio 10 multi-brushes. Each set contains 100 multi-brushes in a variety of styles from crayon, felt tip, cross hatch, marker and many more artistic styles. The goal was to try and get a large varie...

Re: Blurred Shapes
I always assumed GPU acceleration worked for Rendering. For example, when you render something with a scene imported from poser you'll still see 2 progress bars despite the fact that the developers said that the renderer only uses 1 core. I always assumed that the 2nd progress bar was the GPU, but ...

Re: Importing Poser to AS10 problem
I seem to have hit a snag... When I load a 3d model into Poser, I like to set it so that it'll render with a higher poly-count so that it'll look super smooth. This works great for Poser, but when I save my file and then load it into Anime Studio the Sub-D rendering doesn't work so my character loo...

Re: Importing Poser to AS10 problem
ALSO, is there a way to modify a walk that has been made with the walk generator? I made a character that's walking on a path, but I can't seem to modify the walk once it has been generated. No, In Poser it is laying down keyframes for all those movements on most body parts and there is no way to g...

Re: Importing Poser to AS10 problem
Hey I read somewhere that Poser is 30 frames per second and Anime studio is defaulted to 24 frames. I would guess that changing Anime studio to 30 fps would make Poser run smoother. I have not tried it yet. but it's worth a shot. hope this helps. You are right. What Anime studio is doing , is that ...

Re: Anime Studio 10 Webinar Follow-Up Questions
I noticed while rendering a Poser scene in an Anime Studio file that I was only seeing one processor being used? I usually get all 4. I suppose this might have to do with accessing the Poser file during rendering? yes unfortunately it is only using 1 thread when rendering an Anime Studio Scene with...
