I'll give that a try--- though the tut definately is telling me to make the new layer at frame 3 (or is it telling me to keyframe it there?) --a matter of interpretation perhaps... I'll try it your way and see...

I'm working on Tut 5.7-- and I'm not getting the Onion Skin to show me layer1 (when I'm on layer2) Layer 2 is blank, -- no outline from Layer1 I'm pretty sure I need to be on Layer2 in order to draw --but the outline from Layer1 does not show... (as seen in the tut...) Pix attached... What am I doin...
