Nice little demo movie, Vern. I think there's a fine line between unfair griping and legitimate cause for dissatisfaction. For instance, whilst it's true as you say that it is very simple to add extra points with the Split Curve tool, it is also true that if the user tries to add their own arbitary ...

For designing characters and so on, I have no problem with Moho as is, nice as it would be for the drawing to be more like in Flash. The real problem I have is with some very simple shapes - for example a crescent moon shape which took a few seconds to create in Xara by simply using Booleans (I cut ...

Make "Set Origin" Keyable for Layers
It may seem counterintuitive to want to to be able to alter the origin, but I got used to being able to do this when I used Animo and found it invaluable.
As a general request for future developments, I would like to make just about everything keyable in the program that isn't already!

Not sure I really understand, Vern, but then I'm no techie. I'd be interested to see what you describe in action. Since Moho is purely 2D, I rather suspect the end result would be......odd. Certainly wouldn't have anything in common with the same very simple action in a true 3D program since there w...

Face Robot Software
This is just to make you feel a bit better about any future Moho/Anime Studio price rise: SOFTIMAGE|FACE ROBOT version 1.5 software is expected to be available in September 2006 for purchase at $94,995.

I reviewed The Tab 2.2 for a UK webzine two years ago. http://www.biganimation.com/magazine/news/oldarticles.asp?zoneid=7 I pulled my punches in the review for reasons I won't go into, but let's just say that although I was given an unrestricted full copy of the software, I never bothered to registe...
