webinar for brushes and painting
I would love a webinar by Cartoon Saloon on painting and creating brushes in Moho. I love Puffin Rock and would really like to learn how they did all the beautiful textures. My background is in traditional children's book illustration and so far I haven't been very successful in getting the look I w...

Re: Animation for UK charity Deki, created with Moho 11
It is very effective and funny. the facial expressions and gestures are very good. well done! Sometimes the background overwhelms the characters a little, although this is also part of the artwork's style and charm. There are a few techniques that, when used judiciously, can help to make the backgro...

new picturebook trailer
Have a look at my new picturebook trailer done in Anime Studio 11. It uses the artist's book illustrations, which I cut up in photoshop before animating in AS. 185879180 I'm very indebted to Guyver93 for his video tutorial on handwriting in Anime Studio which I watched over and over to help me do al...

Re: timeline jumping ahead
Synthsin, thanks so much! I have a mac and a wacom tablet, so did the equivalent of your suggestion. I option-tapped on frame 1 in the numbered bar in the timeline. When I did it the bar turned blue showing that my animation started at frame 1. Screen shot at this link. I can't figure out how to att...

timeline jumping ahead
When I hit play, my playhead jumps forward to frame 300. I've tried a number of things and looked in the manuals for an answer, but so far haven't been able to get my animation to just play from 1 without skipping ahead. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Many thanks.

Re: Lotte Reiniger animation pioneer
thanks for the links. I enjoyed watching the film. The steampunk atmosphere reminded me of The Mysterious Explorations of Jasper Morello http://youtu.be/vORsKyopHyM. I also like Si Lunchai which synthesizes German and Indonesian traditions of silhouette cutout animation. I like the rich colour backg...

Re: Export with white or transparant background with Debut?
thank you, thank you Slow Tiger for the update on how to export a Quicktime movie with transparency. It's not in the latest manual. I just did as you recommended and now have my little jumping mouse to composite onto the background.
