Re: Mac Users- What is last OS X working with Moho 12.5?
It seems to run fine for me on 10.15 (Catalina).

Re: Moho won’t work properly on Big Sur.
Doesn't look like a fix is coming: Moho 13 is not supported on the latest Mac OS. https://www.mohoanimation.com/moho-pro-system-requirements.shtml The issue with display (Red or Black Workspace) encountered is a known issue due to changes in the Apple support for the Display functions used by Moho 1...

Re: Moho won’t work properly on Big Sur.
What version of Moho are you both running? Smith Micro only supports version 13 on MacOS 10.13 and 10.14. All earlier versions of Moho and Anime Studio are end of life and unsupported. Given that Apple make significant (and breaking) changes to MacOS regularly and Smith Micro seem to have given up o...

Fantastic video, thanks for sharing. It was great to see what you were able to do with Moho.

Re: video format / size for movie import
Out of curiosity I just tried it with the demo of Moho 13 - .mp4 imports and plays fine, .mov imports okay but playback is jittery.
So definitely not a QuickTime problem.

Re: video format / size for movie import
I'm not the original poster, but I'm interested in this problem.
MacOS Catalina comes with QuickTime 10.5 installed which is a 64 bit app. Does Moho rely on QuickTime 7 by any chance? That's a 32bit app which can't be installed on Catalina.

Re: video format / size for movie import
Have you been able to get the image sequence working without crashing? Mac support for Moho has been flakey for a while. Even v13 isn't officially supported on Catalina. When I queried this with Smith Micro their reply was: "Thank you for contacting Support. Officially Moho 13 does not support ...

Re: video format / size for movie import
I have a similar set up to you: MacOS Catalina 2.3 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9 64 GB 2667 MHz DDR4 Radeon Pro 5500M 8 GB I've tried importing mp4 and Quicktime and I get the same plain grey rectangle. Converting the video to a PNG sequence works and it imports ok, BUT Moho then crashes either on playba...

Re: New Moho course from Bloop Animation
I think the animation sequence looks great - it has a definite Scooby Doo vibe about it
It really shows off what Moho can do.

New Moho course from Bloop Animation
I saw this new course from Bloop Animation at the weekend - https://www.bloopanimation.com/moho-animation/
The content looks great, and it's good to see them investing time in creating a course for Moho.

Moho - Sale 40% off until 22 Oct
I know it's pretty unlikely that there's anyone in this forum who either doesn't already have Moho 13 or has decided against it - but for everyone else, Moho Pro and Debut are both 40% off until 22nd October. The discount seems to apply to new licences only, not upgrades.

Re: FYI on the 10.1.3, 11.2 and 12.5 versions
That is interesting. The possibility that the activation server may disappear at some point is something I'd wondered about. If this update in the final version means that isn't a concern I'm more likely to carry on using Moho. This could be Smith Micro getting ready to shutter Moho, but it could ju...

New website - did I miss something?
Today I went to the Smith Micro Graphics site to re-download the installer for Moho 12.5 and I see that Moho has now moved to its own domain https://mohoanimation.com
Has this only just happened? It feels like this may be a positive thing - perhaps new owners are on the horizon?
