Pink Floyd contest

I wonder if anyone noticed or even contibuted to that https://www.pinkfloyd.com/tdsotm50/competition/ which had been announced in February. There was a bit of an uproar because of the terms, but they changed those https://www.pinkfloyd.com/tdsotm50/terms/ in the meantime and I think it's acceptable....

Re: Rebelle 7 Pro for $29 until Nov. 30

Doesn't look much different from the old Painter, which already was great on watercolor. Anyway, I ordered, I can afford it right now.

Re: New SVG import into Moho 14 - obstacles on my way!

It's complicated ... there are some general recommendations though. Anything which will not be animated (backgrounds, props) should be imported as a PNG. Anything which will be animated more than just being shoved around will likely be better created in Moho anyway, because of the differences betwee...

Re: How do I change part of the stroke color?

This is maybe the only feature the old Animo software had which is not present in Moho (in any other respect Moho has succeeded it). (Animo? Cambridge Animation Software, I was there in 1993 to beta-test it.) In Animo each point in an outline could not only have a different colour, but a complete gr...

Re: Refund?

You still haven't described a single bug. A program not behaving the way you're used to from other programs, or simply not exactly as you wish, is not a bug.

Re: How do you streamline your keyboard shortcuts?

I just get used to it ... nowadays I catch myself often trying to use TVPaint shortcuts in Photoshop, since I use TVP much more often now. Since I use a bunch of other software as well this is a constant problem which is not going away.

Re: How do I mirror asymmetrical hair styles?

This is a common problem especially with characters designed just for illustration - in fact, just now I have to work with that kind of problem in some TV ads I'm animating. The official turnaround contains a front view face where the hair is asymmetrical as well - you just have to decide to which s...

Re: Moho 14 bug / immune to camera not working

Don't forget that Immune to camera only works on layers in the top of the hierarchy, not on anything inside another layer.

Re: Transitioning from Cartoon Animator to Moho

Short answer: It's possible to automate lipsync in 2 ways. One reads the sound file plus a text transcript and outputs the standard phoneme keys. This needs preparation and, depending on sound quality, a certain amount of adjustment. The other just reacts on sound dynamics and opens the mouths accor...

Re: How to make random water particles? 13.5

Assuming you're talking about those little white specks: no, that's not possible in Moho's particle engine, because they accelerate and decelerate, but Moho can do only one of this in any given particle layer. Since it looks like pickles in jello anyway, I'd create a handfull specks in one layer, ma...

At the bottom of the project window, you should see the current fame number right next to the playback controls.

Re: AI writing help.

A script writer I know tried this for some time and his judgement was: "AI is good for a first draft which contains each and every over-used cliché in the trade. You then can write a version which avoids all of these."

Re: Cavalry: MoGraph but for 2D

That's one more thing Affinity does right: not only it's damn cheap compared to Adobe while doing more or less the same, it also can import Adobe stuff (as long as you save in a certain format) and even PDF in a useable way.
