Selecting Multiple Layers At One Time

Its a standard feature on lots of programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc...and it just makes sense. Even if it only worked for reorganizing layers in the layers windows, thats fine. It doesn't need to work with the tools like layer translation and layer scaling and such. It just ma...

neither nor. You asked ... Ouch. Honesty is good though. Out of those designs, definitely the second one. The second design has a style to it, the first just looks like a bad drawing. As for your Family Guy animation, I think its the fact that you picked a bad, repetative sound bite of Peter, not t...

RTFM.

There are also plenty of posts on this forum on various topics you can search through if you have a specific thing you are trying to accomplish.

Great concept art! I actually thought that was done in AS, so I know you won't have a problem recreating it in AS. I can't wait to see this guy in action. Love the style.

If this was done in AS, it takes the program to another new level. This kind of work could make you the static equivalent of (dare I whisper the name?) "GreyKid". Can't wait to see more. If he can animate the character as well as its drawn in that still, its easily as good as GreyKid or a...

I dont think he had the programs mixed up... he just thought that it wasn't animation because you didn't have to create EVERY KEYFRAME BY HAND. I think your friend needs to actually open up the program and use it, cause he obviously has no clue what he's talking about. Unless he is doing traditiona...

I guess Flash is doing a better job when it's placing the pixels in the rasterized QuickTime movie than AS is doing.

I also tried rendering a frame as a PNG instead of as Quicktime, and it had the same result. It does NOT occur if I export to Flash. I would suspect this is because the Flash export keeps everything vector and this is why you don't get the weird glow around the shadow areas in the hair. When you ex...

Genete, I think you are probably right that his problem lies in those hair shadows. Good job!

Have you tried rendering out the animation at like double the resolution the final product will be in then scale it down for the final edited output? That might also help w/ that antialiasing issue around the white areas. Even if it needs to be in Flash, you could output the file at twice the resolu...

There are mental health professionals in your area, just look in the yellow pages. There is absolutely no redeeming value to what I just watched whatsoever. The animation is bad, the characters are horrible and the "story" is just uncivilized.

Animation looks real good so far. She's got personality. That head turn is awesome. Did you move the parts on the head to get that turn or is that point animation? I love her bangs swinging around as well...is that bone dynamics or manually animated w/ bones? Can't wait to see this w/ both character...

I can't help with your problem, but have you posted this in the Bug Report section of the forums so they know the problem exists? If not, please do so they can fix this in later versions of AS.

I've used GameMaker myself. Do you have any games online we could download and play? :)

Like a "line" around/behind the moving layer.
I know what a stroke is..."behind the moving layer" helped explain you were looking for a stroke that trailed your image.

Your question seems to be a bit vague. What exactly do you mean a "stroke" to the render? We might be able to help if you elaborate a bit more.
