Any update on this? Rudiger's script is a nice bit of work. anyone got any more working examples? -thanks. I know that Jessica used a MorphDials rig for this animation http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mh5_rQCVbxY&feature=channel_video_title . What's interesting about it to me is that she used it ...

Re: Newbie... need help

Hey guys. New AS user here (coming from TBS) trying to get up to speed asap. Very happy to see an active community! --- I'm on a Mac with OS Lion. Bought the lua file from CP. Installed it here: Applications > Anime Studio > scripts > utility > (3 files, including rt_shape_utils.lua) [can confirm i...

Have you ever seen Dali's early work? http://sdali42.tripod.com/daliearlyworks.htm Some of those could really have been painted by anybody, but they were necessary steps for him to go through to produce the great work he would later create. The way I see it, art is a combination of technique and exp...

Thanks Rudiger for comments. Watch this video http://vimeo.com/27029247 At Time 5:22 you will get some idea where only outline will be rendered and you can save that outline render as JPG and use autotrace in AS to import the vector points in AS. ( I have not used ) Actually, I think the Freestyle ...

Yeah, but the lines that Freestyle generates are actually vector-based, so you could even import them into a program like AS for further tweaking. Not sure what other toon-shader can do that.

This technique is very cool, Selgin, but it seems to me that you mainly use Blend Morphs for only 1 action at 100%, so could get the same effect just by inserting the action. I think the possibilities of this technique would be made even greater if relative blending ever gets added to Blend Morphs. ...

Rudiger - thanks for the great tool. Would it be fair to say that next steps could be to: - add support for switch layers - choosing them where rotation implied selection from top to bottom (say) of the switch list - add support for moving up and down the layer tree - thereby switching behind and i...

I rarely use bone influence, instead I use bind points and layers, as it gives much better control. It would make a big difference for rigging if We had a way to map points to bones. What I mean is, the ability to bind a point to two or more bones and choose how much each bones influence that point...

I think it is both a fix and a bug. Masking without outlines has worked since I first started using Moho 6 years ago. I doubt the developers would have knowingly broken it just to fix some other issue. I'm hoping that that the old behaviour can either be restored or, like you said, a "legacy ma...

This masking issue was introduced in 8.0.1, so if it's giving you problems, I recommend just going back to the original version 8.0. I don't think it had any show-stopping bugs in it. With regards to the 8.0 masking issue that you demonstrated in your YouTube video , perhaps you can just get around ...
