Okay, this seems to be the solution. I saved a wav file just under c:/ with a normal name and it worked, both in AS and papagayo.

Hello!
I just downloaded Papagayo. But when I want to import a voice file, nothing happens. The program just doesn't react. Not even an error message. Does anyone have a clue what I'm doing wrong?

I'm all for good planning, because I know from experience how important it is and that I can't expect to work fast without it, especially in bigger projects. At the same time I'm a very sloppy artist, changing stuff all the time everywhere, so sometimes it's a sheer miracle the scenes get completed...

Should use audio in AS as cues only to get lyp-syncing and SFX right - then composite in Final Cut Pro or similar with you uncompressed video and audio. Thats actually the way I work. Indeed, I just wanted to import the audio files for lip-sync and then assemble the silent avis with the voice files...
