Re: Script request: Set current layer to 'Don't mask this la
You're right, and thanks for thinking with me. But we can't wait for an ASP update to fix this, we need this right now. :) My current fix is using Ramon's Lost Layer Tool: http://lostastools.blogspot.nl/2010/05/lost-layer-tool.html I was surprised it's still working in ASP11. If you click the red cr...

Re: Script request: Set current layer to 'Don't mask this la
does right click the layer in the layers window give you what you want? There's some situations where the right click layer menu is not available (For example the SUBSWITCH layer in the sample file). There's ways to go around it, but this particular situation happens ALL the time with our current p...

How are individual layers from a .PSD defined in ASP11?
How are individual layers from a photoshop file defined in ASP11? In ASP10 It used to be something like this: Example.psd *5 (Layer 5 from Example.psd) How is it done since v11? What has changed exactly? We used to have use a script to exchange layer sources but it is broken now and we're on a quite...

Script request: Set current layer to 'Don't mask this layer'
Hey guys, I have 0 lua experience but I'm hoping this is something super-easy for someone out here :) I could really use a script that simply sets the current layer's masking settings to 'Don't mask this layer'. I need it to get the viewport preview certain masking situations correctly. Any help wou...

Re: NEED ANIMATOR FOR SERIES WILL PAY!!!
300 per episode is nowhere near enough for any proffesional animator.

Re: Best way to lip sync song from the mind?
Sounds like you don't need to lip-sync anything. Try and find other ways to animate the emotions of the 'singing' character.

Set your keyframes to 'linear' instead of 'smooth', and the cycle should be fine.

Re: introduce objects after frame 0
Hmm... this is all good info! What I've done (in my one project I've done so far) is create everything at 0, but then just set the alpha to zero until it needs to show up (via keyframes). I don't know if that is right or wrong, but I did it, and it worked for me. It's probably easier to use 'Layer ...

Re: introduce objects after frame 0
In the preferences you can disable "Enable drawing tools only on frame 0". That might help.
Personally I find it best to create and import stuff at frame 0, because it keeps the files cleaner.

Welkom Peter :) [...] "Use selected bones for flexi-binding" [...] That's the one you need! Here's a step by step guide: 1. Put all image layers in 1 bone layer. 2. Put all the bones you think you need in the bone layer. 3. Select an image layer. 4. Use 'Select Bone' tool <B> and select al...
