Re: Layer by layer Rendering/Exporting
There is no way to select individual folders for each comp or batch file render in the list. There is just one folder selection available for all batch renders, but you can load the same Anime Studio file more than once (one for each comp) and it will name the comp renders based on the comp name. If...

Re: Layer by layer Rendering/Exporting
I use the Layer Comps feature (it's in the layer palette. Last icon on the right top.). It does require some set up but it's quite effective. You create a layer comp for each "layer" render. In the batch out put you can select layer comps from the same file to do multiple renders. The beau...

Re: how many points to use
Yes, I agree as well that your files are probably AI or Flash conversions. I've seen content provided as "Anime Studio" format when in reality the barest minimum of effort was made to simply import/convert pre-existing Adobe Illustrator/Flash content to Anime Studio. Basically importing ra...

Re: Frame by Frame animation?
I checked out your file and couldn't find any bones. Is it possible to use bones first and then adjust points Later? If so, this could be very useful. Asd I said earlier, You could do the heavy lifting with bones, then do one or more passes of point animation on top! I am working on a video tutoria...

Re: Can someone help me with my mistake
I think you should read up on Smart Bones and use them for this project. They use actions just like the ones you have created. You just need to create bones with the same name as the actions to "control" them. Plain normal actions are sort of limited. They are useful for having some comple...

Re: Instances of Silent Morality-Critiques critically needed
Pacing and editing... sooooo important. Unless you need to "pad" or add time for a specific purpose or requirement... don't... actually there is no reason to add in filler for ANY reason. I know your story is more... dramatic than comedic, but check out this video. It is VERY short, it has...

Version 6? Good grief. If anything I am surprised it works in that version. I don't think I created it till version 7 or 8!

You're welcome!
I just tested it out in v10 and it seems to work fine.

Re: Flip bones horizontal and vertical
I am still working on the forum topic to update all those links and images. For security purposes we deactivated direct downloads on our website. I need to update the links to file downloads. Here is a link to download the Copy and Flip Bones script. Copy Flip Bones Download Page I think it will fli...

Re: Smoother background scrolling?
Noted, thanks a bunch. I'll try and report back. EDIT:!! Actually the background is a textured vector graphic so I don't have that tap in the layer options. Hmm... I don't have any suggestions for that except to use an image layer instead (with a mask if needed). Basically an image texture is the s...

Re: Does point thickness interpolate on switch layers ?
Switch layer interpolation does not support smooth interpolation of point widths. However you can use smart bones instead. A smart bone action can control both switch layer and point width at the same time. You would use a smart bone to change your switch layers, then "go inside" the switc...

Re: Smoother background scrolling?
In the image layer properties, click on the "image" tab. At the bottom there is a checkbox for "Higher Quality Render". Check that option and it should smooth out that "wobbly" motion somewhat. I just did a test at various speeds of panning with a vertical grid image an...

sorry to "double post" but I posted this in the other "Frame by frame" topic and thought it might be helpful: http://lostmarble.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=26584&p=150061#p150061 It's about a script I created to playback image sequences without a lot of overhead in the ...

Re: Frame by Frame animation?
I created a simple layer script a long time ago to help with FBF in Anime Studio. I am pretty sure it will work in v10. I just tested it. If you have trouble let me know I can upload a newer version. http://hubumedia.com/anime-studio-services/all-categories/item/image-layer-sequencer-layer-script --...
