I use celtx which is great. I don't think I miss it not being in AS.
What would be the benefits of AS having its own storyboard functions?

Thanks everybody.
I reckon overlapping will be OK. I'll try making them evenly spaced and the same speed.
Failing that maybe I can do them individually (in blocks) and move one block to the start point of another.

Crowd into circus tent.

I'm using AS 5.6 and looking to create a short anim of a crowd entering a circus tent. A little bit like this Disneyshort but a higher angle and much simpler images (circles would do). I have tried with particles but can't find a way to get them to move towards a single point or area. I did a search...

Think I was unclear. I am talking about turnarounds, model sheets or character sheets for 2D characters rather than 3d. The result will be images for printing or taken into your art package as templates for sketching rather than into AS for vectoring/boning. The difference to doing the lines by hand...

Turnaround templates?

Is there any software available that makes creating 2D turnarounds easier? What I am thinking of is a program which allows you to define and reposition coloured lines which show the position of body parts in a turnaround. Being able to load an image (maybe frontview) to position from and having temp...

In AS5.6 you can create your circle, select all the points and then scripts/draw/split curve.
Might give you what you want.

Do I have to splice my audio apart? No (not necessarily) What program can I use? Audacity Should I just rerecord it and start over? No (not until you've given the other options a try) How do I know the length of audio to record for 3000 frames? It will depend on your FPS for your project. 3000/FPS=l...

I know this won't help but AS5 Standard made it a bit more obvious there was a frame limit and also suggested longer films could be made using a Video Editor. I can't see the same for AS6 so can understand why you're peeved. I bought AS5 Pro a few months before AS6 came out but not after the 'free u...

Thanks for the responses. I really like AS Vector draw tools and have used tracing which has helped a lot. I'm going pure cartoon (think retro, Atomic Betty, Kim Possible type). I bought a Cartoon Solution character to see how they did it and was amazed at how many points were used. Currently, I kno...

Drawing vector characters in AS Pro

I've studied some example characters and also got a copy of 6Rs Learn to Draw in AS Pro 1 and 2 (both very good). However, I am still struggling to create human cartoon characters to a standard I am happy with. I appreciate hard work, skill, perseverence, studying etc come into it and I have an OK t...

I had a similar issue with a .wav created from GoldWave. In my case I loaded the .wav into Audacity, saved, reimported into AS5 and it exported fine.
I did a LOT of searches and there were quite a few other suggestions so apologies if this doesn't resolve it for you.
