Ease Out, Ease In, and Onionskins.

Okay, AS claims that it makes animation easier, by automating those things that require a lot of time to do, like Frame by Frame, with Onionskins. So I am trying to understand (yea, master ) Onionskins, to combine with "regular" computer animation, in order to create things that don't look...

I came across this tonight, as I was fighting to upload a walk cycle on Vimeo: If you have the option to control the pixel aspect ratio (not display aspect ratio) make sure it's set to "1:1" or "1.00", also sometimes called "square pixels." Don't know if it has anything...

General Manual Error - ALL DIAGRAM IMAGES SHOULD BE NUMBERED for easy reference! Just titling *some of* them is not sufficient, nor accurate. From the "Quick Start" manual, Page 2 - The figure displayed in the AS interface is from Version 6. Version 7 shows LIZ, a New Character. Page3 - OM...

For those of us totally new to animation and AS, reading the User Manual, start to end, AND doing all the tutorials is truly the best way to learn about the program. But yes, there are some sections that weren't tested after writing, some parts that were mis-written, and some parts totally lacking i...

Re: The community here at the Lost Marble Forum

Users are starting to leave the forum, spam is just pouring out like a waterfall, users are starting to get mad for no reason. You can add me to that list. I've had it with all the trouble makers here just waiting for someone to post something so they can start calling them names and all kinds of u...

I LOVE the introduction. It's only after I watched the video 2-3 times, that I realized the "story loop" effect with the suitcases. A "happy ending" for the suitcases. Yay! :D Subtle, yet VERY creative! I enjoy seeing this thread get bumped. It encourages me to watch it "jus...

Thanks, crsP, every bit of information from other users is ALWAYS appreciated. @Selgin: You are SO good at understanding this app, ANY tutorial you can find the time to make will be INVALUABLE for those of us learning (and probably to a lot of those who know AS), this situation being no exception. S...

As I've been working my way through the user manual, I realized that I still hadn't upgraded to 7.1 So I downloaded the whomping big file late last night and went to bed. I'm fixing to reload the entire program right now... IF you are "marking up" the User Manual (like I've been doing with...

Pro 7 ~ Motion Graph question.

Hi all! Okay, color me blonde or blind, but I cannot for the life of me find the checkbox to "Enable Graph Mode" in the Motion Graph Tab of the timeline... Would someone please help me out and tell me where it is located on the workspace (a screen capture would be heaven, but telling me wh...

At present, I'm using the Styles to make changes to the Tutorial files as I learn the program. They are quite handy, but I too, have some problems with the line. The smallest you can make it is .25, and while I can select shapes and points and change them, I find that when I select "(none)"...

Re: Would Manga Studio allow vector import of bitmaps into A

I think the original poster was more interested in vector formats. No, re-read the question: So here's the question: could the vectored image created by Manga be imported directly into AS6 or AS7, since AS lacks this conversion tool in its own? Since both are Smith Micro products, I'm wondering if ...

Some Options...

The easiest thing would be to simply convert the .bmp bitmap to a .pgn. There are programs you can download, or you can do it for free, online: http://www.coolutils.com/Online/Image-Converter/ (Online) http://download.cnet.com/FastStone-Image-Viewer/3000-2192_4-10324485.html?tag=mncol;5 (Free - Read...

That was a blast to watch! SO smooth with the transitions, and so lively, without being too fast, or too slow. It was just right and very enjoyable.
Excellent work!
