Re: Disney's Frozen "Let It Go" Animation

A resurrected post! Awesome. Awesome young talent! Maybe it's time for you to look for an up-and-coming composer and not have to take existing, copyrighted stuff. You seem to have your own visual language - I'm impressed. - Steve Thank you. I avoid using copyrighted music for my animations, bu...

Re: A short clip from WhiteLand

The water looks great. Did you use 2 base Layers with gradients? It looks like possibly 1 for the upper surface, and 1 for the base, with others with the bubbles and light shafts blurred. Am I close? I'm working on a 5-7minute animation that will have it's share of water, so tips are always useful....

Re: Veggie Hells - My first animation

Just a suggestion. If this is a parody of Veggie Tales, the characters shouldn't even have legs; not only would it be more clear that this is a parody of Veggie Tales, but it would also be easier for you to not have to worry about walk cycles. This is still good work for a first animation. :) Keep u...

A short clip from WhiteLand

I haven't had much time to animate lately, but I did have a five-day weekend that allowed me to catch up on my WhiteLand project.

Re: How to remove unwanted white lines

check you dont have a mixture of masking types nested - (hide all/show all) - this might cause issues... I was able to change my masking so that it would work properly. I placed the shapes that make up the hair into a group layer, which was added to a mask (no masking within the group; set to "...

Re: How to remove unwanted white lines

Thanks for the help, guys. Unfortunately, it appears to be an unsolvable masking problem, as funksmaname stated... I guess I can always redraw the shapes, but this is something that should have been fixed in a software update, as it's something that occurs often.
Oh well...

How to remove unwanted white lines

This problem seems to come up every once in a while... I'm never sure if it's a masking problem or a result of my changing of the shapes' fill and stroke colors. How do I remove these unwanted white strokes that appear in my character's hair? Thank you. http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/bb376/supe...

Not bad! It's well paced and has a nice speaker. I just might write to my congressman or swear an oath of fealty. And here's how you embed youtube videos: Take the last characters (video ID string) that come after the "v=" in your video's url and place ...

Thank you. I've used that technique a lot in my animations. It can be applied to blowing hair as well as cloth.

Re: Disney's Frozen "Let It Go" Animation

Thanks for the feedback. This is one of my few YouTube videos to be this well received. It was very rewarding, but I really need to go back to working on WhiteLand. Thanks again!

Disney's Frozen "Let It Go" Animation

dfb2azqmRlM Here's an animation I made of a character from Disney's upcoming film, Frozen, singing her song, "Let It Go." At the D23 Expo, Indina Menzel, the singer and voice actress for the character Elsa, previewed this song. I used the recording from the expo to make this animation. Th...

WhiteLand: Part 3

BRwEqJi5BBU This is the last full scene of WhiteLand that I will be uploading. In an effort to protect my story ideas, I will not be uploading any more full scenes of dialogue or story elements. I will, instead, upload reels of my WhiteLand clips. I hope that's okay with everyone. I have had plenty...
