If you have a lot of points and a lot of shapes that's not practical. For example, if you have a hamburger and you want to squeeze it in the middle so it bulges out at both ends you would have to move all the points on the top bun, the bottom bun and the hamburger patty, then all the seeds on the to...

It would be nice to have envelope distortion. Among other things it would be useful for applying squash and stretch to layers. You could make a squashed object bulge out in the middle.

If possible, it would be nice to have something like the gradient mesh feature in Illustrator, so that each control point can have a gradient color applied to it.
