Re: Bending is not working correctly

Gradients don't "bend" with bones the way you expect. The gradient shape won't "bend". To get the effect you want with the shading on the sides of the tree, I would use the shading or halo effect with a high blur. As for the tree not bending correctly... look at where the points are on the tree shap...

Re: export vectorized image

I agree that a high resolution rendered raster image will work fine. Another issue is that SWF export does not support a bunch of features from Anime Studio, like gradients, brushes, shadows, shading, etc. Often though, raster images can get quite large and vector is more manageable. Also you can sc...

Re: MOOSEBOX

It's a less offensive version of Wren and Stimpy for the 21st century. It also harkens back to Rocky and Bullwinkle.

I like it. :)

Re: Ordering layers

I'm not exactly sure but I think there is some weird display bug in 10.1, I have changed layer order in a smartbone action and had some of the layers display very tiny, so all of a sudden you basically don't see the head layer, or a foot, but rendering will display the whole character as expected, ...

Re: How to draw a simple clean cut semicircle with AS10

The key to this is not exactly how the vectors are drawn or connected, but the shape that is created, the fills and strokes. When creating unusual or complex shapes, you don't have to use all points to create the final filled or stroked shape. The simplest semicircle technique you already mentioned:...

Re: Problem with Lost Doodle Tool

The place to look would be in your "scripts/tools" folder. Have you set a custom content folder? Finding the files to uninstall would depend on where you installed it originally. If you set a custom content folder with v9.5 you may have installed it in that folder, if you installed it in the applica...

Yeehaa! Awesome!

The first thought that popped into my head...

Ken Burns last documentary, when he is finally ready to retire, will be called "The Universe" and will simply encompass every possible documentary that could ever be made making him the king of documentaries. ;)

Re: Newbie... questions!

hayasidist, thanks for the input. I have for now let go the idea of looping, since I want to add a dream to the cat while it lies there and sleeps. I did see the cycle options, but did not really find out how to apply in such a ways that the exported video will loop. So I think that this is somethi...

Re: Composted Music video: Sausage Cathedral

It's official. I had one of those very detailed dreams last night as a result of the season change. I won't bore you with all of the details (these dreams cover many miles, involve interstate travel via cars, trains, boats and many different locations). At one point I was walking through a very crow...

Re: Composted Music video: Sausage Cathedral

So, every time the seasons change my dreams become extremely intense, complex and have incredibly coherent story lines. This lasts for several weeks. I am now very scared to go to sleep after watching this. :) This has an incredible grasp of the nature of dreams and nightmares. The fast paced moveme...

Re: SVG Import Vector Size

This is a long shot but it might work. Each layer of your illustrator file saved as SVG contains artwork that is different sizes correct? It sounds as if the "bounding" area of the SVG is determining the import size so they don't match when imported into Anime Studio. What you could try is to draw a...

Hmm...

Don't know what's going on. Sounds strange. I suppose it's some kind of bug. It might be a keyboard issue? Numloc? Just guessing. You could try pasting values in from another application.

Re: animating shadows?

You can go as low as you need. The numbers can be decimal values well below 0 well above 1 if needed. Amplitude: 0.0010 Scale: 25 Those values... there is barely any noticeable movement at all. The Amplitude value is so small the movement is subtle. The scale of 25 spaces out the movement so much th...
