Ah ha, this is an easy one: Put the character into a group layer. Select Layer Shadow (animated) in the layer properties. Use the following settings - Shadow on - ticked Offset = 0 Blur = 0 Expansion = 4 * experiment with the number - this governs how wide the line should be). Click the Shadow Colou...

I hit like as well, as its clear the work involved. One comment - your camera work needs to be looked at: Most shots are locked off, no pans or zooms; this is most apparent on the aerial shots... it appears the camera is glued rigidly to the plane, even in the side shot - here a slightly wider shot ...

Hi Rhoel. you can do pagination, tabulation and styles in MS Word (I have 2007) - which exports PDF (with transparent b/g) - which imports to Photoshop - so unless you need styles etc that Word doesn't support, this cuts out the inDesign step! (or if you don't need alpha, and/or can chromakey then ...

Credit Rollers

Recently I had to do a big credit roller - I built the list in InDesign to get the pagination just right. Once all the changes (and there were a lot) were complete, I output the credit list in EPS format to PhotoShop and converted to a 300 dpi transparent PNG. Then I had the option of using ASP or C...

Re: HI!!

you can visit this site -, it has the best results and accurate assessments of domain names .. ...... ahhaha that is so funny... Seriously, Zippozap.com appraisals are worthless - I fed in two names which have been professionally rated at over $10k each and Zippozap rated one at $2.01, the other at...

In an earlier version of ASP, I had problems with longer render times, black frames and other AVI failures - it appeared to be memory allocation release issues. So I switched to rendering HD png's instead. Still has some relase issues but it was no problem - I renedered batches, frames 1-100, 101-20...

Hey, thanks for the reply. The final edit will be at around 90 minutes, but the script is 120 pages so around 120minutes will be produced and then chopped down to 90minutes. It is not uncommon to have an additional 8 cutting frames for a scene. That's probably as much over-animation you are likely ...

I am working with 2.59 and the first few weeks of working with it was just hell. After a few months, I have adjusted and things appear 'automatic' again. When I went back to an earlier version (2.4x) it was like, OMG, where is everything. To date I have been lucky with older files: But then, I don't...

For reasons known only to my poor demented brain, I ran this video in reverse and on the stroke of last frame, my computer imploded ;-) I like Blender a lot, usually using it for visualizations not animation... anything from buildings and boats, to studio sets and anime-style background tracing imag...
