Ok, so I take it you have not upgraded, was wondering if they ever improved on the render quality! Chuck & Gilles - you guys might wanna consider Blender. I was frustrated by the big software packages years ago and limped along with Lightwave till I was forced to pick up Blender for a Unity project...

I guess I still can't get it to work. Even with the gradient fill on its own bone layer, can only move the bone (with the gradient) down so far before seeing a black edge.

This is a monumental FAIL for ASP!

So problem relatively solved, If the gradient rips, take the bone causing the tear out of the parent bone group and copy paste it into a new child bone layer (make sure you reset it transform values,of course)and place its affected layer into that new child bone group. The layers will all animate a...

m'eah. Same result. Installing scripts isn't rocket science. I even updated "_test_list.txt". I'll keep an eye/ear out for Funk's next tute.

Thanks, jonbo.

"apply morph weights" to vector layer

no script embedding on the MorphDials layer

enable realtime-morphing in scripts/menu

...nothing.....

Thanks jonbo. That helps.... somewhat. But I'm still confused. How come I can't get the sample file to work? I *do* have the scripts installed.

I can't get anything to work in the sample file. When I unzip the files I see a script outside the "scripts" folder called "rt_apply_morph_weights.lua". Where does it go? http://img829.imageshack.us/img829/4431/luahv.jpg Actually, with this latest release (v0.2), the rt_gen_morph_weights.lua script ...

I'm still perfectly happy with ver 6 with CC & Fazik's scripts. It's a workhorse for me and does everything I need when 2D is required. Ver. 8 looks fun but I don't really need the sketching capability, character wizard, or the real-time physics -- tho that looks fun, it doesn't have a practical app...

Anyone else here feels the same?
Papagayo has always worked beautifully for me.

My 2-cents.
