If you go back out to the Moho Discussion, you should see that there's a "Share your work" section!

The layer itself is controlled by a bone. Would this adjust the points?

Stroke popping

Hello! As you can see in the GIF below, certain stroke segments are sort of popping in and out as this shape sways back and forth. Would anyone happen to have any suggestions on how to fix this? I tried disabling the noise settings, but that had no effect. Thanks in advance! https://static.wixstatic...

Re: Hello all. New user/forum member here.

Welcome! I've been using the program for a little less than a year. I've watched a lot of different YouTube tutorials, but I think the most helpful tutorial I took was McCoy's rigging course on Udemy. Check it out if you haven't already! https://www.udemy.com/complete-rigging-course-moho-anime-studi...

Re: the curse of the mummy

Re festivals and distribution: It might be wise to keep the video off YouTube, Vimeo etc. until it has had its festival run. Marc Thanks! I've been using Film Freeway to submit and have just been avoiding any festivals with rules regarding projects already being on YouTube and Vimeo. And unfortunat...

Re: the curse of the mummy

2? Two? Only two festivals?? Please! This film has the chance of getting highly popular, I can already hear the laughter of the audience at Berlin's Interfilm Festival! I just copied something I wrote to the TVPaint forum over to here: http://www.lostmarble.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=32379 , hop...

Re: the curse of the mummy

This is damn near perfection. I like everything, the style, the voices ( very good choice), the voice acting, the restricted colours, the dialogue, the stupid gags, the whole idea. Please promise you send this to as many festivals as possible. Promise? I only have some minor quibbles, really just f...

the curse of the mummy

so, this is my first time using moho! overall, I found the process to be a bit bulky and I'm not sure if I'll continue using the program. I really do like the rigging tools and brushes, and even got to throw in some physics, but it seemed like even with really basic scenes the program would bog down...

Re: Should I Purchase a Drawing Tablet?

1) Do you use one? - Sure do! 2) Is it worth it? - Depends on your art style, I think. If you mostly stick to creating and modifying shapes, then a mouse would be sufficient. 3) Which one do you recommend? - I first had a tiny Wacom Graphire, then upgraded to a Ugee 19", then an XP-Pen 22, and final...

Re: Rendering Issues

I saw this once so long ago that I can't remember. It's always best to do final renders in images (png) if it si a long render … but that's beside the point. If in doubt my rule of thumb for any render mishap is to disable multithreaded render. It takes longer but it's pretty reliable in a squeeze....

Rendering Issues

Is it normal to have renders that get to a certain point and never complete? I have an animation that's about 90 seconds long that just can't seem to render in one go. It seems like a relatively simple scene (a single rigged character with limited background elements) and I'm only rendering it out a...

Re: masking rigged characters best practices

thanks for the input, everybody! my background is in flash/after effects, so, it's been an interesting/fun/frustrating process learning how to best utilize moho, but it's great to have such a helpful forum. and to answer greenlaw, I think using the reference layer is going to work best with the way ...

Re: masking rigged characters best practices

Funny, I actually normally put the table in the rig these days ( bound to a special table bone which is not parented to any other bone) , Of course the other character would need a reference or duplicate with half the table masked out. that's interesting! So, if you had a hand rig that is interacti...

masking rigged characters best practices

hello! i'm a new user with some masking questions! in the shot below (with rigged characters behind a vector layer), if I wanted one of the characters to have one of their arms above the table, is there some special way to achieve this? I tried moving the table layer inside of the character rig, but...
