Sure! I'll post an example after I get home tonight.

Re: Quick settings, and multi layers.

It's working here in Moho 13 for me. Here's how I tested: 1. Created a vector rectangle 2. Duplicated the layer multiple times 3. Offset each layer so I can see each rectangle 4. Selected all the layers 5. Right-clicked on any selected layer to reveal the Quick Settings... command 6. Selected Quick ...

Re: Searching for a hand shake tutorial.

I absolutely agree! I've been requesting keyframeable Independent Rotation for years. Alternatively, if we had keyframeable Visibility for Bones, we could set up two hand bones, one with IR and one without, and switch between them with a Smart Bone. This feature would offer greater flexibility withi...

That's very frustrating I'm sure. If I think of anything else to try, will post here. :(

Re: Cant start Moho 12.5 on new rig

Hmm...that is weird. A few more thoughts: Maybe something is up with the Moho 12.x installer you're using? Is this the latest Moho 12.5 installer? If it's an installer you've had lying around for a while, maybe it somehow got corrupted? Or if it's a recent download, maybe it's a bad download? In eit...

Re: Timeline: no sublayrs

Not a bug. You need to use the global Consolidate Layer Channels command under the Animation menu. You can tell it's on by the check mark next to the command, and all layers in the Timeline will be represented by a single 'document' icon in the timeline. Go ahead and try it and see if this looks lik...

Re: Cant start Moho 12.5 on new rig

No, it wouldn't be in the Programs folder. As you guessed, the folder/files only appear after the program has been successfully run the first time. Just a thought: when re-installing, did you first completely removed the previous installation? Also, try running as Administrator. That shouldn't be ne...

Cool! Glad you got it working.

I wonder what exactly got reset though? Anyway, thanks for posting your solution. :)

Re: Timeline: no sublayrs

This doesn't seem likely but could the camera channels be hidden in Timeine Channels? Check the video mentioned above for more info on using the feature.

Posting a screen cap of what you're seeing might help. (Edit: I see you did post a screen cap but I'm only seeing a broken image icon.)

Re: Timeline: no sublayrs

To add to Maestral helpful comment, you might also consider hiding unnecessary channels in the Timeline. By default, Moho can insert a ton of extra channels there that aren't particularly useful during animation and may force more useful channels, like the camera for example, very far down the list....

Re: Big really hard project looming - planning?

Regarding the spreadsheet described earlier. I like to use Google Sheets. It's easy to access from almost anywhere, plus it's free. I used to use a Libre Office document on my Dropbox, which works great with a desktop and laptop, but it's harder to read and edit the file on an iPad or iPhone. Google...

Re: Big really hard project looming - planning?

One more tip: If you decide to go the other way and add the music score after you've animated the film, you may want to include handles around your scenes. This gives you a little flexibility when cutting the scenes to the music, and it may save you from going back to re-animate/re-render the footag...

Re: Big really hard project looming - planning?

Oh, remember my description of the 'scratch' track earlier? This can apply to music too, not just dialog. It's not unusual for an animatic to have a temporary score that is musically similar to what you intend to use in the final edit. The track serves not only as a guide for timing but it can help ...

Re: Big really hard project looming - planning?

It depends on how tightly you wish to choreograph the animation to the music and sound design. To me, it's all the same thing. In recent years, I really enjoy animating and editing footage to the beat of the score. I don't mean I obsessively time every event to the music track but just enough so tha...
