Re: How long does it take to make an episode?

For those of you that are saying a project takes 6 months to a year.... Do you have a link to some of the animations you've made? Scareplane is going to be our first 2D cartoon. We're expecting to finish it this weekend so I'll post a link sometime next week. As mentioned above, it's been four mont...

Re: How long does it take to make an episode?

It really depends on how efficiently you design your show for production, the size and skill level of your team, and the resources you have available (specifically time + budget.) Design and production planning are probably the most important steps to consider because everything else will be put in ...

Re: White lines

A couple of months ago I ran into a similar problem. In my case, I had somehow pasted a copy of a shape on top of itself and the lower shape had a different line style applied. Because of this, when I tried to change the style, it appeared that only part of the style would have any effect on the sha...

Re: What kind of monitor you use?

I use an old HP tm2 tablet PC, which is essentially a Wacom penabled/multi-touch mobile computer--sort of a precursor to the new Wacom Cintiq Companion. The resolution is only 1280 x 800, so not very high. In spite of this, I do most of my work on the tm2. 'Happy Box' , for example, was almost entir...

Re: CrazyTalk Animator (was Anime Studio 9.5 coming soon!)

My wife and I have used a dual-Kinect based mocap system to animate 'Happy Box' and for our upcoming short film nicknamed 'Brudders 2'. Here are some links: Happy Box One Minute Excerpt from 'Brudders 2' And, yes, we also hand-keyframed animations in other productions too. As an animator who has wor...

Re: Multi-select mod for SelectShape tool (Requires CP Produ

Here's the revised 1.2 for Anime Studio 9.5 compatibility. Revision for ASP 9.5 I hope it's okay to post this here--I'm uploading this file for the convenience of other 9.5 users who might want to use this incredibly useful script. This file contains the same 1.2 script files from the first page but...

That did the trick! Switched it to '/' and it works fine now.

Re: Multi-select mod for SelectShape tool (Requires CP Produ

I figured the 'l' key issue was something like that. I'm fairly new to ASP and I didn't think to look in the script for this. Thanks for the tip. And extra big thanks for making this script. I've only been using it for a couple of hours and it's already increasing my productivity. :D

Re: Multi-select mod for SelectShape tool (Requires CP Produ

Figured out what Gather Shapes does. Still unclear about the 'l' key though. For me, this just selects the Eyedropper tool.
