Re: how to create a 3d turn

In Blender you would use the rotate tool... In Anime Studio methods vary, some use switch layers others smart bones or point animation. Various tutorials are on the web (YouTube, Smith Micro Webinars, etc.)

Re: blur the background

You might try enabling depth of field in project settings and then insuring z depth of your background layer is set back... let me know if this helps.

Re: Debut 9: Stop Walk Cycle & Connecting layers

The walk cycle you refer to is an 'action', have you opened the action window?

Using bone(s) you can pin pictures to vectors. (have fun!)

Re: psd will not open layers

Have you tried this???? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Ux3IVlPM2M

For an older version... do let us know if it works/worked for you.

Not sure this addresses your problem as I'm not quite certain what the problem is.

By the way... you are using 'import image' to open???

The head turn on the sheep is fairly sophisticated for cut-out, quite enjoyed the samples!

Re: Problem accessing Actions Tool Window

Just a word of caution... the registry editor is one of the prime places to really screw up your machine, do be careful. I am assuming the system flashed your 7 year old an indication of the problem and offered a 'push this button' solution. Under ordinary circumstance only highly trained/qualified ...

Re: Problem accessing Actions Tool Window

If you hold the control key down and at the same time press the K key it should appear. (Pro version) Not sure if this feature is supported in Debut version.
If it does not you have a bad install. Let me know if this helps.

Great graphics... if you press the up and down arrows at the same time he/it does a ducking jump, quite clever example!
