I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "slide" but go to this website and do a search for "slip". I think you'll find something. This is a great site someone on this forum posted just a couple days ago. Some really nice free sounds out there.

Personally what I do is to copy/paste the content of each layers into a single layer, then select all and scale it up or down, then paste everything back to separate layers.
