This is good. There is a lot of subtlety in his expressiveness. I think this character could have a potential fan base.

Re: Preview quality sucks?

I know I'm missing something but I do 'current-frame' renders quite a bit Ctrl + R. I export a ton of short clips Ctrl + E.
I name all of my trial exports "test" so that my previous trials are overwritten.
I only use the best quality for the final export which takes time.

Your work is always amazing. I know it's asking a lot but I wish you and slowtiger could do a tutorial (or tutorials) on how 'explainer' videos are made.

Nothing special about the box. It's just a small plastic crate about 2 feet square. I got the idea from YouTube.

Re: Another stupid question--how many audio tracks can I lay

a) I printed out my narration script b) I placed my microphone inside a small crate that I lined with foam and a blanket c) started Audacity d) I read everything in my script, repeating the parts where I made mistakes...I saved this as my source audio file... e) I optimized this 'source file' in Aud...

Re: Another stupid question--how many audio tracks can I lay

Ira7, for one of my projects I had two audio folders; One named "narration" and the other named "SFX". I had 48 separate statements in the "narration" folder that I numbered sequentially. The video BTW was an electronic tutorial. My task was to sync the explanations to the visuals. I made the narrat...

DK, I agree with hayasidist. The background would work because you have the talent to make it work.

Re: The Firefly That Wouldn't Blink

Now that you mention it 3D, I do get extra hugs whenever we're working on cartoons. I probably only have another year or so of that before he's too cool to hang out with me. Crazy how fast they are growing up. Seriously, not to get all sappy, but Anime Studio is about the best investment that I've ...

Would the cabin be lived in? If so, having paths that show activity around the cabin would help show it.
