Awesome! You guys are amazing. Thank you all. Regarding the solution. The embedded script on various layers was an artifact from experiments I was doing with Morph Dials. I came to the conclusion I would only use them as I have them, but didn't realize the script would muck up the works. Another exa...

Right. The green arrow is on frame one. What happens is, some of the bones become hard to move. Other bones can be moved, but when they do, the layers/points do not move with them. For example, if I move the upper arm bone, the hand moves, but not the arm. They all work perfectly in frame 0. Thanks ...

When I choose the sequencer tab and shift from track zero to track 1, nothing moves. Is that conclusive?

Thanks.

Rigging Problem

I have rigged my character with a combination of point binding and layer binding. On frame zero, everything works. I can manipulate bones, and all of the right parts move. When I switch to frame 1, only some of the bones are properly bound. So how do I figure this out?

I don't know GCharb. But like many people he seemed helpful on the forum, posted some tutorials, and had an idea for a business. Was it all a grand scheme to get my money and yours? Doesn't seem like it to me. Any number of things could have happened. Maybe he had a death in the family. Maybe he was...

Another thing you can try is to use the "Interpolate sub-layers" option in the layer setting (options panel for the layers, "switch" tab). Each version of the hand (or other part) has to have the same set of points, but AS will tween them between key frames. The easiest way to ensure the points are...

Couldn't you simply animate the bone layer, like you would for any other body movement? You could also put that into an action.

Is there anyway to reset the orientation of a Morph Dial? i.e. I want my morph bone to point to 9:00 and for that to be the "neutral" position. Instead, my neutral position is 12:00.

This is an awesome tool. I found that you can also make a copy of the ruler, and remove all animation so you can use the stationary ruler to easily adjust layer translation to match the walk.

I don't install toolbars either. It would be far more useful to me if you put all the useful links on a webpage. That gives you much more room to describe things. And I could access it from any browser without installing anything.

I recommend to change your style of working. Instead of welding separate lines, think in terms of closed shapes which get stacked. Much easier, less confusion, more satisfaction. Thanks. I have switched to staked shapes for the most part. Your drawings are very helpful. You should be able to create...
