OK if you are finding it difficult to find results using your native language, just search in English :-D Your English seems pretty good - try using Google Translate to assist you. Seriously - look for a copy of Animators Survival Kit. Save your pennies, beg, scream at your parents just get your han...

Dopey2 you aren't looking hard enough :) http://www.cartoonster.com/ OR http://animation.about.com/od/flashanimationtutorials/Flash_Animation_Tutorials_StepbyStep_Lessons.htm OR http://www.donbluthanimation.com/ I'm not recommending these, I've never seen them, so I can't vouch for their quality, bu...

Frame by Frame idea - Step interpolation + Drawing tools

Hi everyone. Just a quick idea on using AS for FBF. I gave it a quick demo and basically it's not perfect by any stretch, but thought I'd throw it out there. I did a search through the forums and I can't see anyone has suggested something like this that doesn't involve a script of some sort. So I al...

Wicked fun! Dig the 8-bit style of the track. I love your style and characters, couldn't say it enough without gushing, haha. Oh wow, bringing back the memories of the old cartridge days too - blowing into the cartridge before whacking it in the console (go Sega Megadrive!). Once upon a time I thoug...

Hey Dopey2 - my suggestion for you if you want lessons and examples is basically this. For examples watch LOTS of animation. Watch the masters, watch modern work, watch as much as you can. Learn by watching. In regards to lessons, spend some time on Google and you will find a wealth of animation tut...

You could consider breaking up your files into scenes, if you have a longer animation, especially with a large amount of assets/characters. That way you could have only the necessary assets/characters in each file and edit them together afterwards in your video editing suite of choice.

Really!? OK that's partially a reason to upgrade - how's the performance go in AS8? I wonder if MeshInstance renders with no multicore issues as well?

Hey Tiger,
Yeah I already saw that the series was made in Flash before my comment, I wasn't neglecting that fact, I was simply remarking on Manu's comment for reasons already stated - anyway, it's all good now 8)

@ Manu No worries mate 8) I went on a bit of a rant, that post was at the ass end of an argument with a friend about being presumptuous, hehe. I fully appreciate your "default" answer though, in regards to folks asking about AS :D @ Imago You could build a particle system in Flash with Act...

@Manu I beg your pardon? ALWAYS assume it's Flash? Regardless of the fact that you knew this was created in that particular software, why would you make such a blindingly bias comment? Excuse me in advance if you are not, truly I mean no offence - it just came across that way to me in your short com...

Walk cycle WIP / jerky motion, help please

Hi everyone, I've been working on a walk cycle for main character in my first short. I used references including video refs and Animators Survival Kit. I am mostly happy considering it's my 2nd walk cycle ever (last one about 10 years ago!) but straight up I can see the motion is a "jerky"...
