Re: HeyHey App

Great work, Victor and the crew. A really lively film. When I see the individual set-ups, I almost wish each scene were twice as long, to give it space to breathe a bit.

Re: Puffin Rock

I just saw this for the first time, as you bumped it up the list again. That's a great looking series you have made there. I'm delighted to discover it was all animated in AS. Congratulations!

Re: CHULE AASMAAN-Engineering document analysis

Your work is wonderful, as always. Even though I don't understand any Chinese it is interesting to see the film taken apart in this way. Thank you for the posting.

Sorted. Finally got the email that allowed me to re-register and after that, Smith Micro support dealt with my query very fast.

I cannot contact support!

I need customer support but I cannot log in because my password is not recognised. I clicked on reset password, entered my email address and waited for an email. No email arrives. I do the same thing several times with identical outcome. How can I contact support??!!

Re: What do you think about the AS10 main characters?

I think the characters are appealing, really well designed and well rigged. Each one demonstrates features of the software that reward careful study, and are tutorials in their own right. They also show that AS10 is not limited to a particular style or "look". One thing I would add to them is some n...

Re: Anime Studio in Song of the Sea

That looks terrific, with some very nice animation and design.

Great to know that Anime Studio is being used for a series. I'd also be very interested in working on that.

Re: Help on preparing my scene for dolly out

I get what you're saying, Steve (exile), but you only have to watch the film to see where his heart lies, and I may be mistaken, but I think Nicholas himself would have to agree it is not the characters that excited him. That's nothing to do with the characters being generic, or symbolic - that does...

Re: Help on preparing my scene for dolly out

I find the characters to be the weakest link in the film - their basic design and rather stilted movements seem almost like an afterthought - but what is going on behind them is absolutely amazing. The level of detail is staggering, the backgrounds and graphics, the subtle, understated colours, and ...

Re: WhiteLand Character Rig Head Turn

To me, this is a very successful head turn. I wouldn't be too concerned about hiding the transition of the nose from one side to the other, or ironing out all the inconsistencies of the 3D illusion. The appeal of 2D is that the artist chooses what to show and how to show it, by defining his or her o...
