Re: Walker

Yes, great work! Mercifully the violence is all in miniature so it's as funny as it is horrific.

Re: Vector style animation

That is a really excellent piece of work. I love the inventiveness, and it makes transformative use of a song that I dismissed as bubblegum pop when it first came out!

Weird and repetitive, yet somehow compelling. I really like your style.

Looks really good! I just watched your compilation reel of shots as well, and this is definitely the most successful shot so far.

Re: shot 1 - new technique

Hmm, I think it's often too much when animators feel they have to make everything boil all the time. Mind you, I also rather like it when texture stops moving on holds as well - more restful for the eyes.

Re: shot 1 - new technique

It's a very good look - I confess I don't understand synthsin's comment; the texture IS animated, and very successfully.

Re: "The Secret Miracle" - new short film

I like your films a lot, I remember commenting on the Railwayman sometime ago, and it helps that I have also read this Borges short story a long time ago. I really admire your painter's aesthetic, and the handmade feel of the films. Few would suspect this was made digitally instead of being a tradit...

Re: How do I scale points?

Silly me, I just realised I can copy the curvature keys directly from the original frame and paste them on the new. I don't have to do any tweaking at all!

Re: How do I scale points?

Thank you for uploading that script again Hayasidist - no doubt about it, it's saving the day, even if it means I have to bake my animation key by key and then reassemble it manually into duplicate layers. It's still far better than re-creating it from scratch! Many of the splines need tweaking as w...

Re: How do I scale points?

Hayasidist, I really need this script urgently, but the file doesn't seem to be on the mediafire link you posted. I have spent a few days building a 2.5D head at a larger scale to the body (don't ask why!), and it also included many layer transforms instead of moving the points, and now I find I can...
