Okay, this seems to be the solution. I saved a wav file just under c:/ with a normal name and it worked, both in AS and papagayo.

Thanks for the advice! 8)

Creating a scene, the Diana Kennedy way

This isn't exactly a real tutorial. It is just a series of Blog entries explaining on how I did a particular scene of my Vosgian Beast movie, using traditional animation and AS. I thought I'd share it here. Who knows, the one or the other detail may be useful / inspiring to you. Part one: http://ken...

Papagayo doesn't work

Hello!

I just downloaded Papagayo. But when I want to import a voice file, nothing happens. The program just doesn't react. Not even an error message. Does anyone have a clue what I'm doing wrong?

I'm all for good planning, because I know from experience how important it is and that I can't expect to work fast without it, especially in bigger projects. At the same time I'm a very sloppy artist, changing stuff all the time everywhere, so sometimes it's a sheer miracle the scenes get completed...

As far as I heard, Itunes charges an one-time fee if you want to sell apps there. It is probably similar with films.

Lets say that I don't trust multi-function devices, I prefer a hardware that does ONE thing but this one in a good way. I work with a canon Scanner - I'm pretty happy with it.

Should use audio in AS as cues only to get lyp-syncing and SFX right - then composite in Final Cut Pro or similar with you uncompressed video and audio. Thats actually the way I work. Indeed, I just wanted to import the audio files for lip-sync and then assemble the silent avis with the voice files...

Wäre auch mal ne sinnvolle Neuerung, wenn man neue Vektor Layers an jeder X-beliebiger Stelle der Timeline einfügen könnte.
