Re: Minecraft animation

Wow. Nice dynamics here. And your approach to lip sync is great, I will try and steal it!

Re: Animate terrain breaking into pieces

Well, you have to create all the pieces, then assemble them, then animate them breaking apart. That's it. There's no button for it.

Re: Using Moho & Crazy Talk together, separate layers = ugly gaps

1. If you work with cutouts/bitmaps, always make sure that they overlap a bit.
2. Always leave a transparent gap at the file borders.
3. Straight line need to have a blurred appearance.
If you follow these points, there should be no visible lines in your renders.

Re: Using Moho & Crazy Talk together, separate layers = ugly gaps

By any chance: is there one half of the face in an image file so it's cut off in the middle by the file border? In that case it's a known glitch. In a bitmap file, always leave some 1 or 2 px of transparency at the borders, and take care to not have any straight borders - always make them a bit fuzz...

Re: Fixing 'illegal' curves?

Freehand tool? Usually I get some loops at the beginning or close of a curve. Not a big deal to correct manually. I think the important part is to find the troublemakers. Then highlight them, and let the user decide how to correct. As I wrote in that other post, some search for too-close points coul...

I really wonder how other people use their software - I always play around a lot, this is how to explore things!

Re: Updating to Mac Catalina OS

While Moho 13 itself shouldn't even blink, other applications on your Mac may stop working immediately, especially drivers of all kind. I've already heard that Wacom tablet drivers are not up to the task right now. There's sites and even applications which help you to test your software inventory ab...

Just press play and move a bone or point - Moho will create keys.

Re: Move layer to the top of the layers window

You want to use Animated layer order. Put the layers into a group (or bone) layer, in this layer in the tab Depth sort switch on enable animated layer order. Now each time you move a layer inside this, you'll create a key in the top layer.

What am I doing that's wrong?
You used a mask where a simple overlay would do.

Re: Parent / unparent in place?

Sometimes it's possible to just render a certain composition and re-import that image. (Change project size temporarily for that, if necessary.)

Re: Parent / unparent in place?

No.

The only thing which helps is a lot of discipline while building characters: don't scale layers, don't give them a Z value other than 0, don't build stuff far from the origin point.

Re: Moho 12 Pro - iMac Pro 3.2ghz SLOW

Regarding orphaned points: This is a source of trouble since ages ago in lots of software. Single points, or just 2 points on top of each other, or some points in very small distance to each other, all cause trouble. I remember the old Quark XPress choking on those, RIPs the same, and of course (nat...

Re: Control bone delay

No, haven't used any script at all ... It's interesting that I see many examples of "stuff spread over space" in many programs, mostly per particle animation or, in more complex systems, as "crowd control". It would be nice to have a "spread over time" feature as well, which should also include a sp...
