Re: FBF and bitmaps

Big red flag: "she wants the actual imported bitmaps to be animated". People with no understanding of the requirements of animation shouldn't be allowed to make films. Let them use Powerpoint.

Re: Big really hard project looming - planning?

I recommend to do a lot of thumbnail sketches for the different poses, that*'s better than just describing them.

If you do some movement you've never done before, it's a good idea to test it in a separate file first, with simple shapes, this will give you a good idea about how to design and rig it.

Re: Big really hard project looming - planning?

Really good storyboarding helps a lot. Which movements are involved, how can they be shown the best way, and is this way easy to do in Moho? Side view walk cycles and any rotation around Z are simple, everything else not. Don't know how much emotion is in the script, but take care to be able to expr...

Bialetti

I like this logo character a lot: https://www.lifeinitaly.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/640px-Logo_Bialetti.png and there's even some animation of him from the 1950's. Take note of his extraordinary mouth shapes! ndfTd1ljAJ0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndfTd1ljAJ0 Character was designed by Paol...

Re: Switch transitions?

Not a simple solution, but what I do when I know there's a series of transitions: Create a group layer and make it fade in/out in the exact fashion I need. Multiply this layer. Move duplicates in time. Put my stuff inside. (Another solution in TVPaint which works well with still images: just stretch...

Re: No motion blur on camera panning and zooming?

If you revert the setup and, instead of moving the camera, put all artwork into a group layer and move and scale this, you should be able to switch on motion blur for this layer. It will lead to longer render times, of course. Blur FX in a video editor are a bit faster for this purpose.

Have a look at the bone layer whether it's tilted in 3D.

Re: how to use multi view layers

Moho is a 2d program. This means that you have to create all views by yourself.

Re: display simultineously several small animations with moho 12?

You can always create your animations in separate files, export them to video, and import all videos into a new project file to arrange them neatly.
