I did a lot of work on this thing, but I was using an expensive programming application (3 times the cost of AS) in a trial mode. All the work I did was during a 2 month trial. I would have to buy the application now to continue working on it. I plan to as soon as I get the cash. :) There is a trem...

I still don't see the problem. Barry You're not supposed to see it. You're supposed to upgrade right away, or even pay the full price. Basic economic theory states that a seller with complete pricing power (such as a monopolist) will price a product so that each buyer will pay the highest price tha...

rogermate important is to fill your shape with paint bucket tool only stroke first, then fill. watch video again, in beginning is simple demonstration of that with two circles. try to do this, then you will figure it out. regards! OK. Apparently you must create the "shapes" at the same time, and fi...

cirlce end point

PARKER wrote:Creating a brush with a circle would give you a line with round ends.
I tried it once.
Have you been able to do it having a smooth circle like a vector circle, that is without getting jagged edges on the cirlce?

Re: .. create a detailed resolution background?

Here's one approach. Make a quicker vector background first. Then when your animation scenes are done, you can go back in finalize just those backgrounds that you need. This way you won't waste time on backgrounds that are not used, and the vector sketch outlines can be imported as outlines to sketc...

feature: "arm bend.mp4"

Hi Onionskin, Watching your link, I looked at your other youtube postings, and am really interested in your feature: "arm bend.mp4" But there is much I don't understand. First, what are all of those tools? It seems you have some shapes which have outlines that appear to auto-mask themselves. Could y...

Deja Vu all over again?

Follow path is an awesome feature, thanks Lost Marble, totally wicked. This is one of the most important features toward making this a fully featured app. Thanks again. wasn't follow path available back in version 5 with the free scripts. I don't recall if it was from Rhylander or one of the other e...

I don't see problem. I bought the upgrade for $130. The new price is $200. That seems like a fair discount to me. Seriously, who pays list price? The upgrade discount from 6 to 7 is not much of a discount, for the pro version. The other poster was right that skipping a version is the better deal. I...

script tool to enhance onionskin's technique

I was just thinking this could be "scripted" to some degree. For example, you would select the points, run the script, and it would draw and center the circles at those points. You could do this in "one shot" for the whole character by selecting all the "gap points" and running a menu script or too...

Many applications optimized for multiprocessors can suffer on machines with only one processor. I'm pretty sure that the poster was referring to the same machine, and that for him AS7 rendered slightly slower than AS6. While it could certainly be true that a later version of any given application m...

Only slightly faster on one frame files.

Hi Vern,
If anyone would know you would... Is AS7 finally thread safe so that my multi core CPU can use all its horsepower to render?

Re: Filling in the gaps in joints

I just thought of a solution to a problem I've been having for a long time and thought I would share. Nice work around. But wouldn't it be nice if AS Pro had the option a style for line end points? They could be flat & rounded, or sizeable circles, squares, fades, brush terminated, arrowheads, etc.

select all sublayers?

Is there a quick way to select all sublayers of a particular layer? I know I can hold shift and keep clicking each one individually, but this can be tedious with a lot of layers. I'd prefer some sort of shift click method which works like the windows standard method of selecting all items in between...
