theoretically, you should be able to do that. The ASP5 toolbox has layer transformations that you can use to make it happen. i tried rotations on the x-axis and translations on both z- and y-axis. i haven't tried rotations on the y-axis, though. but you should be able to do that, the transform matri...

Photoshop And ASP5 Animation

I'm about to get to the next experiment with ASP5, this time using Photoshop and ASP5 to do some interesting animation. Basically, my question is: Will this idea of setting the character, props and backgrounds--all hand drawn--in Photoshop work nicely in ASP5? Here is a sample drawing I made, took m...

swf bug.... i've seen that bug, that line across the middle...bug? anyway, i'm pretty much a newbie ASP5 user, still climbing up that slope, though. it's hard to say when will i finally be done with this tool since it fills a niche in my current toolboox, a unique tool for simplifying movements acro...

Swift-like

I'd like to second the feature request about having some of the features on Swift 3D over to both versions of AS. I read the docs including the scripting section and found lots of 3D related classes and functions. And I'm guessing the path to having a swift-like feature could not be far away in the ...

I submitted an entry. I only have the demo vers...

i played around with another test and it seems that i could probably get away with bitmap textures, though. http://begonza.com/animation/aspro/scene/temple/render.temple.002.01.01.bmp http://begonza.com/animation/aspro/scene/temple/render.temple.001.01.bmp http://begonza.com/animation/aspro/scene/te...

regarding pixelation, i did some tests on it by flying the camera on it, heading toward the island. it turned out pixelation created a nice effect.

it might turn out pixelation could be useful in this case.

thank you, scunge for commenting. i did some test on png and used png-24 in attempting to remove the gradient bands. it did remove some, but not entirely, though. i guess, what this means is avoiding gradients and probably use a different technique. http://begonza.com/animation/aspro/scene/ocean/isl...

noticed the gradients didn't render well. what's the solution for this one? also noticed the pixelated region of the image near the camera. files: http://begonza.com/animation/aspro/ocean.rar http://begonza.com/animation/aspro/ocean.render.001.jpg http://begonza.com/animation/aspro/ocean.render.002....

Setting-up A Scene In ASP5 using textures.

i'm not sure if this idea will work in ASP5. i'm thinking of setting up textures in PS, then set them up ASP5. Each object will be translated, rotated and scaled on an axis, resulting to this kind of 3D space. my color style will be similar to art lozzy. any comments will be appreciated. http://bego...
